I am so lucky not to be addicted to coke or other soft drinks. I never really drank them, and don't really like the taste most of the time. Still, I had plenty of other bad habits to get me to 260lb

My grandma is addicted to coke as well
There is something sickly humourous about someone saying that.

Latte is another weekness of mine though i wouldn't say its an addiction - but of course Starbucks had to come out with that green tea Latte thing. buggers.

Stewarts Diet Root Beer has been a good cruch, it doesn't taste like a diet product and doesn't leave the nasty Aspertame after taste most diet sodas leave.

I will, part of me is hoping a case of the stuff pops up on there

Hey Jessica - does the coke in Mexico taste any different? And, how can you RESIST free coke? My husband would never come HOME if they gave him free coke at work!

It's funny, I'm a black coffee drinker usually, but Starbuck's lattes...! I struggle to walk past without popping in for one. I've managed to tone it down from a full-fat treble grande latte at 265 kcals to a fat-free tall cappuccino at 80 kcals, and that can easily be incorporated into my plan. Even my purse strings are thanking me.

I gotta have my Coke-- between weight loss and diabetes, there are a lot of things I am having to give up -- and I do mean give up. My brain does not care for portion control -- it seriously thinks if one cookie is good, the whole darn package is better. :-) It has reached the point that my Diet Coke is my one vice in life and I jusr refuse to let it go. HOwever, I will say that I have increased my water intake a lot AND I try not to have more than one per day. Every now and then, when I have a lot of computer work, I might go through several, but that isn't a regular thing.
