Well, I don't want you to think I'm overreacting or being totally anal about the nickname thing, Jenaya, its just that I'm scarred from my childhood. You see, I've always been called "Jilly" in my family (in fact my friends also call me that, so you may

) and when I was a young child I was fixated on green peas! Yes, I'd eat them straight out of the can or even the freezer. When it came to fresh peas, I loved to push them out of the pods with my thumb and munch on them happily. Hence I became known in the family as "Jilly Pea". I could live with that…that is until my sister Jennifer came along. Naturally she became "Jenny" and because she had an early obsession with all things Winnie the Pooh, became known as "Jenny Pooh". Can you imagine the embarrassment I suffered when my sister and I would be playing outside and my mum would stand on the step yelling: "Jilly Pea, Jenny Pooh – time to come in!!"

I mean really, there are still people in the old neighbourhood who recall the woman who referred to her daughters as bodily functions. As if that wasn't bad enough, my brother's name is Jack!
