Howie, congrats for sticking to it and great news about your job. You've lost so much already from your heightest weight, you have to feel great about that.
You know, the day to day was what always killed me before too. I'd eat bad one day or sometimes even one meal and I'd say to myself, "I suck. I might as well give up" and that would be that. This time around I have a totally different outlook. Last week was honestly the only week I ate anything or any portions that I shouldn't have since 1/12/04, when I started and even then I said it's just a meal or two. Why would I blow everything I've worked for over a few lousy extra fat grams? Where this new clarity came from, I'm not sure but it sure is working for me! Having the stories here and people to talk to about this that are in the same situation and equally overweight as I am is a HUGE help too.
Keep it up. You're doing great and you'll be to your next goal in no time.
