Default Weekly Weigh In - 1/26 - 2/1

Today I am up .5. 294.5. I'm actually Ok with that. Usually I am a loser or gainer. I have been maintaining at 294 for 2 weeks. That's better than gaining. I am slowly learning my body and how it works.

I am hoping for a loss soon.

Sandi, I LOVE your attitude!! Gina and Audrey ... great job! I'm down 4 and I'm thrilled ... I had a few slip ups this week, but I tried not to beat myself up over them ... I just got right up and started again!!

You are all doing great!

I'm down 6 pounds this week, REALLY happy about that, even though it's come at the cost of being in bed and mostly unconscious for the past week...but oh well! I'm out of bed and doing better now!

My body is so weird. I was actually up 2.5lbs but when I did my measurements (what I actually care most about) I was down 1" on my bust, another 1" on my waist and 1.5" on my hips. I think I may just go with the measuring instead of the weighting....makes me much happier. Someone else suggested it was possible muscle gain. That sounds like the answer I want to here

Shelby,
Most likely it is muscle gain....but also, it could just be water weight. Since you still lost the inches (yay) most likely you lost fat and gained the muscle.

Keep up the GREAT work everyone and positive attutude!!!! WE are making this WORK!!!!

Congrats everyone on the losses (in inches & pounds!)!

Not a great week for me....up another pound. Ooops. I'm afraid that I am not surprised by this pound. It was well earned (had been expecting 1.5 to 2 pound gain).

Not going to beat myself up....going to move on. My new goal is NOT going to be weight related. Have decided that I need to keep my food journal all week. I feel certain that if I do this, I will see the results next weigh-in.

For some reason when I focus on getting to my end weight goal, I seem to sabbotage myself. ???!!! Anybody else experience this???

It seems to me that the way to get around this self-sabbotage is to focus on what makes me lose weight rather than the scale number. Thus the journal goal.

OK. Went to the doc today and I am way out of onederland. . .So, take me off the all-stars list and I'll work my way back down there.

I'm disappointed, but I needed the wake-up call.

AHHHHHHH...just lost big long reply...

Basically, Angi, don't be to hard on yourself. Motherhood is a huge adjustment in all areas in your life. Unfortunately, food and nutrition fall by the way side. It is not and excuse, just a fact. When my kids were new, I could not even find time to take a shower....heck, who am I kidding, I still don't sometimes....LOL

Holly....you knew this was gonna happen, no suprises here, right. Unfortunately, this is what happens when we eat out too much...that is one of the reasons why I got here in the first place.

Chequitagirl...how did weigh in go???

Loosingit....good idea with a non-food related goal!!!
