My hiatus
Hey everyone,
Its good to be back! I hope to check in at least once a day. As you all probably guessed I wasn't checking in here because I wasn't doing all that great. I was really stressed for a while with a lot personal relationship/ family issues going on and I thought that if I just "maintained" for a little while I could get back on track. I know that I can't maintain at all now, I am either losing weight or gaining weight.
I've been back on track now for about 2 weeks. I haven't looked at the scale and don't intend on looking at the scale until at least February 1st. For me, I think weighing in often was counter productive. I need to remind myself that what the numbers on the scale say is not whats important, it is being healthy. Weight will come off in its own time.
The pattern for me is that I would loss weight fairly steadily, reach my "lowest" weight, then regress back 10 or 15 pounds. I can't keep doing this!
Unfortunately I can't go back and read some of the posts that i missed, but I promise I won't go MIA again.
