Default Headline: PLATEAU BREAKS!

After a month of dieting, exercising, and losing NOTHING, this morning I weighed myself, and I have lost two pounds.

I am so excited!

This may have something to do with the fact that yesterday, I got my period (which is ridiculous at 55), so something finally changed. (And I thought I was done with this, perhaps losing wreight has been releasing hormones from my tissues).

In any case, this just goes to show that NOT QUITTING a healthy program eventually works. Today, I go to work out, to keep this going.

Congratulations! I know how hard it is to stay focused when the scale is not rewarding your efforts (usually too hard for me ) -- that's great that you've perservered!

Well done for getting through your plateau, they can be so frustrating! You might have a bit of a weight loss spurt now you've broken through it - which would be nice!
