Wink Who has pretty feet??

Ok ladies, so I took your advice and gave myself a pedicure.

Clipped them nails, filed my feet smooth, exfoliated, put on some peppermint foot lotion and polished those nails. It felt nice to do something for me!!

Jiff - How did you do???

Well it's off to brush and floss!!

Awesome! Your feet will feel so nice and soft.

I have pretty feet all the time. I exfoliate everyday to prevent cracked heels. My secret is to keep peppermint scrub in the shower at ALL times, along with a pumice stone/brush.

If you do it on a daily basis, it should only take you a minute to exfoliate, (you don't want to over do it).

Your feet will love you.

I've got pretty feet too. I've been trying to keep them all exfoliated and smooth, and doing a good job of it for several weeks now.

My favorite though is keeping my toenails done in a french manicure kind of polish job. When I first saw it on someone else in the airport this summer I thought how silly, then I tried it and was all over it, because it always matches what I'm wearing and doesn't stain my toenails

When I was at my mom's place a few weeks ago, she said, what's going on with your toes...and I was all, what you don't like my polish, and she said, no, they're getting little. She's right, I can now see space between my formerly super pudgy little tootsies.

Yeah for pretty feet!

I love my feet!
I have straight toes, never had a bunion or a corn, and take off my shoes the instant I get home.

One of the reasons I'm losing weight is to put a little less strain onto my feet.
They are, actually, the only part of my body I'm vain about except for my ears.

I do NOT have pretty feet. I would love to take better care of them, but I just don't make the time. I have started keeping my toe nails painted, but that's about it.

I have nasty feet.. I clip my toenails too short and my feet are so dry! The shape of them has great potential.. they are narrow and a size 6.5

Where do I start? what should I do? what should I buy?

I also have nasty feet. I bought a foot spa yesterday and used it last night. I had a good soak for about 15 minutes and put lotion on twice yesterday. I now need to exfoliate all the yucky dead skin but I have to admit that they look better already. I used a mix of vaseline and mango body butter on my feet overnight with socks on and my feet are much smoother and not so dry looking. My heels are so cracked but I suppose that will go away if I keep up the good care.

I have pretty feet!...I cheat and get regular pedicures though..can't quite reach my feet good enough to paint them neatly anyway!....My last pedicure I got a deep rich burgandy and had yellow and til blue flowers painted on my big toes.

Jiffypop*** and everyone..I found an awesome foot/cracked heel file from a company called Caswell Massey (1-800-326-0500 to request a catalog)...There use to be an actual store in my local mall but they went out..but I still get their catalog. They have a foot file called "Heros Chiropody Sponge"... it is actually black lava that you wet and it makes your heels sooo smooth...You can actually see the dead skin on the lava rock ...YUK! and it lasts a long time!...they sales three sponges for $12.00..probably at least a 1 yr supply. They have other things to pamper your feet too..but the stones are the only thing I have tried.

Paraffin dips are good to do on your feet too...and they are everywhere in the stores now. Just make sure to apply a really good quality lotion BEFORE you dip your feet..then wrap in plastic..leave on for 20/30 minutes and uummmmm...so hydrated!..Can you tell I do this stuff for a living? ...tootles

I try not to look at my feet and I would never, ever get a pedicure. I'd be too embarassed. I have that awful fungus on both big toenails (and have had it since I was a kid--could never wear sandals), and on most of the other toes, too. I now have it on one thumb, which is pretty upsetting.

I envy all of you with pretty feet! I'd love to be able to wear sandals and put polish on my toenails.

Sheila, have you seen a dr about this fungus on your toenails? I have seen advertisements for an antibiotic for toenail fungus, maybe you could look into it.

I have some not so great toenails that grow funny. A couple of them are really thick but I think if I let them grow out long enough that I could polish them. I have the same problem as Slimdown that I tend to cut them too short. I haven't cut them in awhile so I might take myself to get a pedicure someday.

I am just terrible about cutting them too short too. I might see if I can make an appointment for a pedicure on my toes only. Might be cheaper, don't really need the feet stuff, I can do that myself.

Here is a link for what I use. There is also a moisturizing lotion in this line, I think. Freeman's ROCKS!
