Martine:Glad to see you and also sending you big hugs

Curvy: Your sweet potato hummus sounds delicious! I agree with you about working with tahini; it can definitely be a pain in the butt! Way to go on your weight staying consistent through the holiday, that’s awesome!

Today’s plans include cleaning and organizing my spare room… again. It always manages to turn into a catch all for clutter when we have guests or host anything of any sort and it’s driving me bonkers. I will also be making sure to go for a nice long walk with Loki- I’ve been good about making sure I get to my step goal on days that I’m not working (I automatically hit it on days that I work). Yesterday’s walk was extra long, maybe that’s why I haven’t dropped at all in the last three days? Not complaining, it’s better than all the fluctuation of the last two weeks I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

I didn’t weigh-in yesterday as I went with my friend (the Thursday morning homework friend) and her daughter out to meet her family where she grew up. She didn’t warn me her mom lives in an over 100-year-old Victorian farmhouse on a ton of land with outbuildings galore; I was in my glory. I was so touched that her mom looked up recipes to make keto-friendly dinner for me It was really cool to see the place she grew up and the amount of love and personality in the home was incredible. Anyhow, back at home and back to the grind. Work tonight and tomorrow and then traveling out of town to visit a friend from high school for New Year's Eve. This week has been like a weird limbo between 2018 and 2019 and I keep forgetting it’s not the new year yet. The lack of sleep probably has more to do with it than anything else, but it’s been an odd week. I hope everyone has had a great week and has an even better weekend.

I can’t believe that it’s the end of December, but more than that the end of the year… actually, I can’t believe it isn’t the new year yet more than anything Come on 2019, I’m ready for ya!
