  • My name is Erin, and am new(ish) here and have not seen a thread like this...maybe because there are not a lot of big big girls like me on here, but just in case there are any lurkers out there!! This is the place to be gals! ...and the place to NOT be because we are on a journey out of these numbers!
Right now I am at work having lunch that is a salad inspired by gyros. You know mama would rather be having that gyro, HAHA! But this is good too
Just a little introduction, I started a couple of weeks ago at 303 lbs the most I have EVER weighed! Currently today I am at 300 lbs so yay me I decided to post this instead of 300's because I am almost to the 290's and want to start a group that I will be in for awhile (but not too long if you know what I mean!) I have been trying to post actively so I can have those pretty little signature countdowns!

If you are here please reply and join the discussion! We are here to support each other through good and bad!
  • Well looks like it is just me in here
The weekend was a really lazy one for me unfortunately. I had pains from a migraine I had later in the week and was in no mood to workout, I think the most I did was wash my car at my dads house which is actually really physical! My arms were beat! Sunday I did nothing. This is the first weekend after my family vacation so I don't feel too bad for that to be honest. This weekend I am planning to do something outdoors with my daughter and we are taking her to the waterpark Sunday so lots of pool play!

My weight has not changed...up and down between 303 and 301. Maybe I can push into the 290's this week! Wish me luck!
  • Second day at 300...maybe I will be seeing some 290 numbers next week. Going to try my best!
  • You aren't alone! I'm here too: my scale has me in the mid 290's but the mean dr. office one tried telling me I was 301 this afternoon. I'll stick with mine. I just threw my back out so I'm on the warpath to drop weight to avoid surgery.
  • Hi Shea!
The scale at the doctors office is always the worst! I feel you on the losing weight to avoid surgery. I had really bad sciatic nerve issues back before my previous weight loss and complained to a doctor about them and he flat out said to lose weight. They did go away when I did so it worked lol. So glad you joined this thread!

I am finally in the 290's officially. Had a very active weekend and the scale shows. Got down to 298 but work might have had a pizza day and I might have joined in it so I weighed in at 299 today. Thinking of having another active weekend again to keep this going!
  • Weighed in at 298.2 this morning and I feel 297 coming lol!! Through my weight loss start I have been going up and down from 304 to 299 so I would love to see me get to 297! Going to have another active weekend!
  • Hi there. I also started around 300. I am down to 284 and eat very little carbs and have added exercise at least 3 times a week. Its hard getting back into exercise.
  • I've got to get back to the gym too; I'm down to 182, so almost 20 lbs down. I can't see a difference yet, but I know I want to get the muscle tone back where it used to be.
  • I am 292 ( as of this morning) down from 350
    good luck guys xxx
  • I'll resurrect the thread to help keep me going!

Today I'm holding steady at about 287.
  • Hi Azzi. Welcome back to 3FatChicks. This thread has not had much activity lately. I guess no one is in that particular weight range. If no one joins you here, you might want to check out The Splendor of December where people of different weight ranges post to report how they are doing and get support from others.

Good luck to you with your journey.
  • Thank you! I might wait for a January thread instead, but in the meantime...

    285 :
  • No one may be around here and that's ok just gonna use this for my own accountability. 284 is my starting weight.

I actually have been fluctuating between 279 and 285 so gonna keep track here.

My highest weight a few years back was 341. So very happy to not be near there.
  • Scale is showing higher than my starting weight currently, which I'm ok with but I went for a walk on the trail yesterday which I haven't done in over 8 months since my dog died and I used to take her. It's 1 mile but they have a mile marker just after the halfway point with 2 options: finish the mile or go an extra 1/4 mile and I'm happy that I chose the extra quarter mile and didn't use an excuse like it's my first time getting back out, etc. It's the small things!
  • Rather than start a new thread, I’ll just try to bring this one back. Lol

    298.4 this morning.
