I hope to be wearing my "promise" dress outside the house! When I weighed 470 pounds, I bought myself a dress in a Medium (the one in my avatar) and "promised" myself that one day I would wear it. I can wear it, but it is tight. Not something I would wear outside the house

Six months from now I'll be back in onederland! I'll be able to shop in the non-plus size part of the store again, even if I'm squeezing in at the top of the range (size 14). I'll post a photo of me at the top of my favorite hike - Temescal Canyon near Malibu - and will be proud to be sweaty from my efforts. What's more, I'll be thrilled to have had the willpower and motivation to have made it that far!

6 months from now I will be attending a cousin's wedding and feeling a lot more comfortable about how I look. Right now I feel terrible and hate to be seen in public by people who know me. I hope to erase those feelings soon.

i'll have just reached my target weight and will be planning maintenance and how that will work. It'll be mid-winter, the best time for trekking, and i'll have a few weekends away lined up for some overnight hikes with my little tent

Six months from now
I will be safely off the diabetes meds.
I will be moving more and enjoying the healthy foods I've learned to prepare, many of which will be coming out of my own garden.
