You're right Jenni, it must have been too much all at once (although for the record, I didn't have the entire thing at night, just a good chunk of it). I know how you feel btw, I've been stuck in the 190s for entirely too long.

Kukkie I've done that before, drank too much water the night before and for whatever reason didn't pee it all out through the night. Well I'm hoping for a big whoosh for ya soon

Jenni, I've screamed many times on this journey Even kicked myself a few times ... and got a few from friends on here ... ... ... ... a sense of humor sure helps with the screaming LOL on the water explosion ... just hear the waves as the water moves around

Hope everyone had a smooth Monday!

I lost and gained these past few days. Not great but I did end the week with a half pound loss, lol. I will take it and run into the new week with more hope for whole numbers! Ha!

Kukkie, I'm sure the gain is the water weight, it will flush itself out soon. Indian food and the sodium, plus the influx of water will definitely cause retention! Best of luck in the next few days of weigh-ins!

jen, I'm dying to get into the 220's too. I keep going between mid 230's and low 240's. I know its my fault but man I'm dying to see 229!

Rennie, I get so mad at myself girl. I go to bed with such high hopes, wake up and am strong and focused, middle of the day I am still pretty focused, then 4pm-8pm I am SO weak. I talk myself into bad food and talk myself out of cardio. Weekends - same deal just that I always cave and just grab whats easy and fast and delicious at a restaurant.

Lots of things to change, but just going to focus day by day!

After a loooong week and a half being away from home (two different weddings in two different towns) I am back and should be home for a few months without any major events coming up. So I am ready to be focused and see the scale move.
I am happy to report that after my time away I only gained about a pound or two (hard to tell exactly on my scale).

My goal for this week is to eat lots of vegetables with whatever else I'm having and to drink lots of water.

I'll catch up with everyone's posts later...glad to be back!

akelly that's all we can do is focus on the day by day I'm trying to overcome this caving in issue that I seem to KEEP having. ... this is me 100% in the evenings grab whats easy and fast We'll do better

Yesterday I got in lots of veggies and water as I had planned. I was hungry at dinner time and probably had too much of the protein and carbs, but overall, not bad for my first day after a long week of overeating.

Today's goal is the same as yesterday: lots of veggies, water, exercise.

Hi Everyone

Down to 192.8 this morning, so things are going in the right direction.
We have been getting such terrible cold weather here the last two days - SNOW mixed with rain and temperatures just above freezing. It has kind of put me in a panic to get all that end of summer stuff done - so much so that I have been running around getting almost nothing done!!It is supposed to get back up to warm weather by the weekend (hope they are right!!)


Kukkie - Glad to see you are back to losing. Everyday is a water day for me. It is the one thing that I try to stick to no matter what - 3-4 litres a day.

rennie - Nice job on the loss - I am so looking forward to hitting the 150's.

Sarah - Nice to see that you are getting back at it as well - I sometimes just need a little "off plan" break to be able to focus again. Not a "starting over" so much as a "continuing on from here".

akelly - So sorry to hear of the loss - it is never easy, but I think it is harder when it happens quickly because you don't have time to prepare for it.

had a sodium heavy lunch and dinner, seeing the results of that today with an over night gain of 2lbs. Drinking plenty of water today to get rid of it.

Good morning everyone

Holding steady at 193.5. My stomach was in knots last night after dinner; not pleasant at all. Feeling a bit better this morning, and hoping that some coffee and water will do me well. Yet another busy day at work for me; we also have a dress rehearsal for the flash mob that we're doing on Tuesday. Ahhhh. Exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time! Hope everyone has a terrific and on plan day. Talk soon

JenniLOL - yes I mean 162.8... same this morning! I guess it is just hard to believe that I am down to the 160's - also hard to believe that 6 months ago I was 80 lbs. heavier!!!

Kukkie...hope you feel better!!!

Vi...hope you get rid of the water weight fast!

Jude...I remember losing 80 pounds last time and not feeling like I did...it's hard psychologically.

Rennie...curious what does fbs mean on your weigh ins?
