So before I bailed on the board because I was "too busy" and "would just take a wee break" (when will I learn?! Grr, but also, LOL), I'd gotten down to 271. Now I'm back in the 90s. But I guess it's better to be back here and up a bit than never back here and up a lot, right?

Good luck to us all this month and in 2016. Hopefully we're all on a downhill slide, LOL.

The "Keep Going" phrase has been ringing in my ears for several months, you'll get to where you want to be, keep going.

Motivational/Inspirational quotes that helped keep my fire lit then and now -

"The voice in your head that says you can't do this is a liar." *a personal favorite*

"If you're sick of starting over, stop quitting."

"You never know how close you are, never give up on your dreams."

"Never let a stumble in the road be the end of your journey."

"Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway."

"She believed she could, so she did."

"It takes 4 weeks for you to see your body changing. It takes 8 weeks for friends and family and it takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world. Keep going."

"Beautiful girl, you can do hard things."

I have so many more, but then you'll be reading them all-day lol. Instagram is amazing for inspirational before & afters, good advice and just great quotes that keep your fire stoked.
I love all your quotes. I think I'm borrowing your idea--will find myself a say for each week! Thanks and Beautiful Girl--YOU CAN DO IT!

I feel your pain. I got down to 288 this past week, but today the scale's back at 292. We can do it though. Hang strong!

I'm back and I'm determined to get out and not return. 298.8 today. Here we go team!

Candidcamster- I loved your quotes. Especially, "Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway." That is so true and something I've never really thought about. Thanks!

*blows the dust off of this thread*

Anyone else still trying to get out of the 290s? I didn't see any newer or active threads on this. Seems like the more active themed threads like this are down in the 260s/250s or below. Which I hope to rejoin as soon as possible, of course, but I am stuck in the 290s at the moment...lol.

I'm currently at 296...I hit my highest weight of 297 this month, and I really want to turn this around before I accidentally hit 300. If there are others out there, or if there is a newer thread going on somewhere that I didn't catch, let me know!

I'm working my way out of the 290s as well! I'm at 296.8 this morning and hope to be moving into the next group (moving out of the 280s and 270s) before January is over!!

Hey, econ nerd! I'm glad I'm not alone in here, lol. I am at 294.4 this morning, and I'm hoping to follow you into the next thread down before month's end, as well! I think this one is fairly dead at the moment, aside from us now...haha.

Flushing out some water weight, so the scale was down to 292 today. Wondering how much more I have to flush before it becomes "real" weight? Either way, super happy to see the number moving down and hoping to move into the next thread by the weekend. Fingers crossed!

Hi opheliaphoenix! Happy to see you here and will be happier to see you in the 80s and 70s thread. I was 296.4 this morning so I suspect you might beat me over there - but I'll follow soon!!

Hey econ nerd! You're having great losses too, so I don't imagine it will be long for you either. I weighed in at 290.6 today, so I'm hoping this keeps up for both of us...lol.

I slept in a little this morning because of a late night last night, and my weigh-in when I woke up was 289...we'll see if it stays that way tomorrow after waking up at a decent hour. But, yay for a new "decade" in the meantime! I'll keep checking in on you here, econ nerd, and I know you'll be following me into the 280/270 thread VERY soon!

I started my weight loss journey on January 2nd at 291.6 lbs., so I thought I would post here. Since this is the first week of my diet, I might be in a new section now I hope (going to weigh myself now!)

HOORAY I made it to TWODERLAND! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lololololol

I am at 299 today and have not seen that "2" as the first number since last May. Now I have my sights set on 280's!

Losing weight when you are older... is alot tougher! it truly is. I have heard it.. but now I believe it! Tho I am going to try and buck that and lose weight faster!

Happy Day all!
