+ we had a 67ºF day - a real miracel in December

+ both dogs are groomed and ready for Christmas - looking gorgeous!

+ bought myself a Kobo (e-reader) for a Christmas gift to me

+ got a good whack at Christmas shopping and stocked up on baking supplies at Bulk Barn

+ the rain didn't start until I got home

+ will be getting together with my son, DIL and grand daughter on the 23rd

+ the outside lights are now on the front porch but not put up yet - they will be done since they are out there!

+ another busy day tomorrow but a quiet evening of reading and dog cuddling ahead

I am grateful I had the weekend of this week to spend with family and friends.
I grateful that I got to make the dinner for my daughters youth group so proud that as a teenager she is staying connected to her faith and makes the effort to participate in church functions.
so grateful I have a spouse who is supportive in whatever I do
I am grateful to hear the sounds of skilled carpenters working on my house and how lucky I was to reconnect at a time they were available.
I'm grateful the cleaning lady is here today making my life easier
I'm grateful my mother saw another Thanksgiving
I'm grateful the sun is shining while the guys work outside on my house
I'm grateful that I'm 20lbs from goal
I'm grateful we have no snow yet

- despite a terrible food day yesterday... I am not giving up!!! Grateful. I've made a healthy plan today. DH gave away the cookies that the neighbor brought over that I gave into. Grateful.

- my sister is coming to visit soon. My mom is joyful.

- we got out the Christmas decorations. I love looking at the tree. Almost all the ornaments are handmade by Grandma Minnie, Jane (DH's mom) and me. Also, many as gifts. It's like the tree is alive with people we love so dearly.

- our Santa 'ladder' - with Santa and an elf climbing up the Christmas tree. It's a family tradition.

- friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell, music

- old fashioned bubble lights on the tree are so cheerful.
