Today I am wearing the size 18 pants that I pushed to the back of the closet in Jan. because they had gotten too tight! It is so good to see my progress.

Yesterday I wore a pair of size 26W pants as an experiment to remind myself what it was like to have all my clothes feel tight and uncomfortable all the time. Well, it backfired a little, because other than not liking the muffin top the pants gave me, I spent all day loving the fact I was wearing button dress trousers with no elastic, and marvelling at how thin my legs looked!

Few more pounds and they'll be comfy!

My boyfriend noticed that I didn't have to struggle to do up my seat belt in his silly little Japanese car! I used to have to do this push, twist, suck in and buckle routine every time I got in his car!

Today I am wearing size 18 capris that fit perfectly. It not quite warm enough, but it may get up to 8 today, and that's the closest thing to spring we have had so far! :)

I finally had some people outside of my immediate family notice that I've lost weight! :carrot:

Also rocking my capris. We're going to hit 10 here. Jealous? :D

My best friend has a tiny little Pontiac vibe that beeps like crazy when you're not buckled up. I used to just tolerate the beeping because it was so hard to get the belt on. She actually noticed that I didn't struggle with it at all the last time we went somewhere.

I am Jealous of your 10! Its supposed to get up to 15 by Saturday :woohoo: lol

My boyfriend was going to buy a seat belt extender thing, but the thought of that was pretty scary!! Stupid seat belts!

I bought this cute pair of jeans in Jan (size 18 just because that's the largest size I'm willing to buy) that refused to go beyond my thighs. I've been trying them on sporadically since and this morning they were able to go all the way up, no problem-unfortunately, still can't button them but baby steps!

I was just on vacation. I mostly wore my bathing suit or a sundress. I love those boy shorts Tankini bottoms. I went to put on my regular shorts and they were way too big. I ended up having to try on 3 pairs to find one that fit. Woohoo huge NSV especially on vacation.

My daughters told me that they love it when I'm trying to lose weight because the meals I cook are so delicious!

I bought a dress yesterday. This is the first dress I've bought since 2004!

Wore a size Large shirt out walking last night. Totally fitted on my body (I still tied my jacket around my waist) and I was a little self-conscious as the shirt wasn't black (like the rest of my wardrobe!). When I got home I asked my husband if I looked too fat with it and he said I looked good! (He would tell me if it was too small to wear if I ask, he's the only one I truly trust!)

Today marks 9 full months of working to lose weight and not giving up, and 7 months of exercising regularly. Stall or no stall, I'm not 450+ pounds anymore!

^^^^ RadioJane, you are incredible!

I have two NSVs:
1.) My best friend, who has always been pretty healthy as far as food & exercise go, told me that she's proud of me :)
2.) I got hit on by a random guy at a gas station two days ago, & some guys in Target definitely watched me walk by them. Creepy, but still flattering, lol :carrot:

I remember feeling embarrassed three years ago when I ordered an XL belt online, because I couldn't find one that fit in stores. I've worn that belt for the past three years, starting with the biggest setting, and in the last fall I was able to put it through the third setting.

I lost it about a month ago, put it on, and buckled it to the tightest setting (and it is loose!).

Time for a new belt, and there's no need to order it online, because it will be a regular size!
