I picked up some fast food for my mom today per her request, and I wasn't tempted to get any for myself because I was looking forward to getting home to my healthy/organic food

fitting back in to my 18 jeans after 2 yrs of them not fitting
|
Work shirt given by the company last year wouldn't button up when I got it now it will button and its loose :) Soon it will be too big to wear :carrot:
|
Realizing today that it's been 5 weeks since I had anything with sugar in it and I haven't craved it once.
|
Realising that all the clothes that I was still squeezing into, actually fit properly now, or are even getting loose. I also bought a coat the other day a size smaller than my current clothes. It's a little tight, but it still fits, and of course my intention is that it will be looser in the next couple of months! :)

I've got another one today.
A family member, despite knowing I'm eating healthier (and having been told I didn't want any chocolate for easter!), bought me a 12 pack of cadbury creme eggs. I was a little annoyed to be honest, but I just took one and told them to give the others to someone else. Turning them down was incredibly easy and didn't bother me at all, and I love creme eggs. |
I was reading earlier today & when I tried to prop my book on my belly like I usually do, I noticed there was a lot less belly to use as a book prop!
|
After a week of very little scale movement, I didn't jump ship, and am sticking with it.
|
I walked to the store instead of driving there (it's exactly a mile from my house). I saved gas, got exercise, and enjoyed looking at the mountains and green trees as I went there.
|
Wore a size 16 jeans today that I have been trying on and off for months. They buttoned last weekend but I didn't feel comfortable enough to wear them. Today, I did. Feeling so happy and thankful for my weightloss.

I walked as much as I could today (recovering from surgery). I went to Target and a few other stores w my daughter. I also walked down the street to drop something off at a neighbor's house. Baby steps, for sure. But it was a good balance of pushing myself in the right directions, with my current circumstances.:) |
Hmmm...I would say my biggest NSV is simply the inches I have lost. Even the new clothes that I bought just over a week ago are getting to big. It's exciting for me, because, while I still have a long way to go, I am the smallest I have been since I graduated high school. I'm just not as excited for my wallet...

It was before ballet class, I was just standing around, leaning against the barre sideways (it's waist high) when I felt a sudden pain where I was pressing against it. At first I thought 'wow, my side must be very tight' and tried to massage it, then I realised it was VERY hard... It was my pelvis! The ballet teacher came and felt my side and confirmed it's definitely bone. Lol!

A few!!
1. I gained this week, but didn't flip out. By the end of the week (today) I was back to my previous weekly weigh-in. I know what I need to do with my eating (it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't perfect) and I feel I gained muscle this week (hard to judge, I know...). 2. Fitness: I did a boxercise class yesterday and didn't die!!! In fact, I had more in the tank. So exciting. I then went to an amusement park with my son and walked around all day. I did 20 squats with my 55-60lb son on my back in one really long line. Shuttle runs at rugby training aren't making me question why I ever started playing in the first place. 3. When my arms are at my sides - I can feel my ribs and muscle - not flab. |
Awesome NSVs all of you!!!
I'm wearing my peach, black and white dress for Easter today! It's only an XL but it's a bit slinky so it doesn't hug anywhere too much. I came downstairs and my husband was like, wow!!! We are staying home alone for dinner but I wanted to be pretty and springy. I don't know what I would have worn if this didn't finally fit! So happy today!:bunny2::easter2::bunny2: |
