OK.... I'm gonna talk too.... (hehe) I work at Holiday Inn Express... which means I work for 6 Continents, which means I could probably get us a good rate at any 6C hotel i.e Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crown Plaza, Staybridge, etc. A lot of times, if a group stays at a hotel and you get so many rooms, they will give you a hospitality room for free. If not I'm sure if you wanted me too, I could see about some employee discounts. I know that I personally could get 8 rooms at an employee rate which is usually $29-$39 a night.

I'm all about Chicago... I LOVE Chicago... I could marry Chicago.... and if I'm not careful I will come back with an accent. I don't know how far the planning has gone yet, but I think sometime in 2004 would be prime, so we can all save money, especially if you're a poor college student like me and because then I'll be 21!! WOO HOO!!!!

Maybe we can write to Oprah and tell her how FREAKIN AWESOME we are and then she'll love us and invite us to be guests on her show... hhhehe.... I know I know... it was a nice try!

Anyways, those are my thoughts..... most importantly the hotel thing.... if whoever is planning this gives me the word, I could give some places a call... my boss is from Chicago, and I'm sure, with his master womanizing skills, he could get something worked out for us too.

HEHE WE ARE SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your our hook up for sure!! We'll let you know as soon as we pick a place and date! The cheaper the better!! As far as Chicago, it'll depend alot when other conventions are in town.

its great we got someone with the inside connections! From the poll in the other thread it looks like Chicago is going to pull through. I love Chicago as well (only been there twice, and didn't have time to see much).

Default its a mission

well as i started this whole thing off i guess its compulsary that i attened lol. just worked it out gonna take me nearly a day to get there 3 hrs drive to heathrow and then about 8 hrs to maine or newyork flying. then an internat flight. with waiting times lol. i have no idea what chicago is like but if its wet and cold i'll b right at home and hopefully my lovely english accent will get me around lol.

am looking forward to seeing everyone where ever is decided. if you lot think driving is expensive try living here. gasoline is nearly $7 a gallon.
