I gained the week before and during my period. The week after, I had lost the water weight plus some.

My weight fluctuates quite a bit now so I tend to only weigh once per month at this point. My body seems to expel a lot of waste just before and during my period so I typically weigh myself as soon as it's over.

Maybe you could try picking a certain time of the month and weighing only then if staggered losses are discouraging to you.

I must echo Melissa - I have a huge spike with my daily weighing for TOM and a smaller but sustained one for ovulation. Don't discount hormones!

the first week i got on track -10.5 lbs lost i was extatic .... i was hoping for one more big week before my body settled down into a steady pound a week ,
the second week ..... i didnt loose anything ... not even a measley ounce .... i stayed on plan i excersized ... and still nothing ....

If I knew when I was meant to have a period, or ovulate, that would be great. But I have had a Mirena IUD for just over 4 years. I havent had a period for like 3 years.
