    Hello to all, not sure if my other post got on so I am doing it again. I am now 60 and 170#, I need support to get success and balance in my life again. I will graduate in DEC with my BSN after having my ASN since 1987. I need to get away from the bedside yet I want to stay in nursing. I am married for 37 yrs and have 3 grown boys, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I love scify and Games of Thrones-can't wait for the return this yr.I live in Indianapolis, In. I have used Sparkpeople.com in the past with success but the site has no real people support. I need fluffy and ex-fluffy friends to help me. We understand and can make it happen with respect and kindness. I do not hate what I see in the mirror, I see my great aunts whom I loved, but I need to get the weight off for my health. I am healthy, no heart or lung problems, not diabetic, just a low Vit D level that makes me tired. So I am good to go. I am changing my anxiety meds from Cymbalta to Celexa because of the sweating Cymbalta makes me do, who wants to sweat that much.hehe. Huggies

    Welcome! You'll find lots of support in here, that's for certain. It looks like you are at your goal of 170 pounds. That's fantastic to have lost 100 pounds without us! We'll help you stay there and will probably ask for help along the way.

    I'm also 60. I've been overweight (this last time) for over 25 years. I decided in January that things had to change so I joined a gym and changed how I eat. Then I found this group in May and joined in. The support has been fantastic.

    You're gonna love it here. Glad you found us.
