Carrying over from part 1 October is treating me so good- 8 pounds down so far this month! My motivation is high to keep going because next weekend is WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING!!!! I would love to see a couple more pounds gone by then- but TOM might make that difficult either way- still pushing forward and downward!!!

Good morning everyone :-)
WI @ 230.2 today, down 1.8 from yesterday... which is odd during TOM, but I'll take it... especially with the, um, questionable food choice I made yesterday! Wedding this evening... say a little prayer for me to avoid the many temptations that sometimes. come with celebrations of love <3 on a good note, this puts me at 10 pounds lost for the month of October- whoomp whoomp!!! If I can keep the momentum going for the next week, I'll surely fit into that smaller size wedding dress! :-) hope you all are doing well too!

I had a really rough day. I started thinking about sweets. I was doing fine. I needed to go to Whole Foods. I found myself in the bakery. I was literally bent over reading the ingredients for the cookies. I was insane at that moment, but still sane enough to know that I didn't want to have an allergic reaction from peanuts or nuts, etc. I got a bag to put my cookies in. I got one of those papers to pick up the cookies with. At that point I came to my senses. I threw the paper and bag in the trash and proceeded to the register to pay for my collard greens, zucchini, veggies, etc. OMG! I was so close to getting a bag full of cookies! Earlier I was thinking about a dessert at a restaurant that I am wanting to have some time in the future. After I checked out, I went to the office to workout. As soon as I got there I drank a bottle of water, I ate 2 little cups of vanilla yogurt (160 calories total) then drank another bottle of water. I was OK at that point. I am so glad that I didn't do what I was thinking about doing. I swear, freakin' sweets and food in general, are like drugs for me.

So I made it though, but I had a very weak moment. Again, I am so happy that I didn't do what I was thinking about doing. Some days are tougher than others. Today was tough. I don't even know where this came from. Maybe getting up too early?

Hey peeps! Crazy weekend, I'm feeling much better though, no more ickiness, although it's become supremely cold here. I'm going to buy gloves at lunch! Where is everyone, why is this still on page 1... are you all still posting in part 1? Confusion!

Anyway, I haven't weighed in since my last one on Friday morning. I wasn't planning on weighing in on Saturday or Sunday, because I fasted (religious reasons) on Saturday, and felt like a stuffed turkey when I broke my fast in the evening, albeit I ate less than in previous years. Anyway, so that's why I didn't WI on Sunday.. No desire to see the damage. But I was insanely good on Sunday, despite going to a wedding reception. I just absolutely forgot to weigh in this morning. It was an early morning, hubby's staycation ended, and he started work early. So I had him drop me off to the train station early, so that I could avoid taking the bus there, which means I was up super early and got to work early, but it's all good. I'll just be sure to make today a great day as well, and the scale will reflect that tomorrow, right?

Anyway, back to work I go... Have a great day ladies!
