I realized that while I track my weight weekly in various challenges, when those challenges end, I don't have all that information in one single place for reference. So I decided to keep it all centralized in one thread.

When it gets too long, I may go back and edit to replace early weeks as a monthly total. I started this trip on January 13 when I joined a really neat local gym. I weigh in on Wednesday. I'm still updating but I guess no one but us wanted to keep track like this. I like to be able to see my progress from the beginning all in one place, but maybe others use non-3fc methods for that? |
I like this because it's right here, but I keep a more elaborate spread sheet on Excel that shows my weekly goal (it had been about 1% per week) and progress in several areas. It figures weight loss this week, weight loss overall, if I'm ahead of or behind my goal, BMI, etc. I like having this thread to keep it here on 3fc to refer to as needed, though.
Down to 164.0 today after a 2 week stall at 165.4. that keeps pretty close to wanting to slow down to about 1 pound a week until I hit goal. Hope you have a great day. Lin |

Back from vacation. I am up 4.2 lbs. I am ok with that. My goal was not to gain more than 5. I am pretty sure it will all fall back off quickly. I am pretty bloated and just need to get back OP.
233.6 I want to be in the 220's by November. And am trying to figure out when I should set my Onderland goal for. I am starting to worry sbout the holidays. I am thinking it would be a great Valentines goal. |
Welcome home, Cathi. I know the pounds will fall back off quickly. Mid February seems like a reasonable goal to lose about 30 pounds. It's 4 months with 3 major holidays (if you count Christmas and New Year's as 2 separate occasions rather than a week long food fest!) If you can lose in all the "regular" weeks and maintain during the holidays, you should be good.

Well, today is officially my first weigh in. Not quite a week, but I want to weigh in every thursday. Sad to say I'm exactly the same weight. Not too bad of a thing because I didn't gain, but I want to loose. I allready know the mistakes I made and I am planning on doing better this week. I'm not sure when everyones weigh in day is except for Lin, but I'll keep checking back to see where everyone's at. Hope everyone has a great day!! |

After my unexplained gain last week up to 209.6, I was down 3 lbs for this week to 206.6. Still working my way back to my ticker weight. I'm hoping to see some additional progress and get to start moving my ticker again by next week's WI!!

Welcome everyone. I am a Tuesday weigh in and introspection. I am still battling a mental block after a gall bladder surger and vacation 3 weeks ago, I just can't seem to get back on plan. Yesterday was my first 24 hours success. I am going to do my best to make this a successful week.

I had my second weigh in today and I am happy to say I lost 5 pounds this week. I'm super excited because my efforts are paying off. Yay!! And I have not been feeling deprived and Im still having my coffee. So I'm super excited.
Dewittmba, Congrats on the excersise! That's a hard thing for me too. I just don't want to do it ya know. Having a new baby is hard so it's good that your even trying and you'll get back on track. Your on your way! Also I definetely here ya on the heel spurs. I've had them for years, plus tendonitis in both my ankles and it hurts. It's good you have a coach maybe he can tell you some good stretches to do before and after you run. Good luck! |

and hang in there dewittmba - I had a gain of 3.6 lbs two weeks ago, but I expect to finally be below my low weight prior to that, and get to change my ticker again! And in my case, I don't even know why I had the gain - I gained about 2.5 lbs even while being 100% on plan and then I did have a tiny cheat (2 funsize bags of M&Ms) but that wouldn't cause that much of a gain. I am betting it was TOM related for me, and with a new baby, you've got all kinds of hormonal stuff going on. |
I just saw this and I would love to do a weekly weigh-in thread! I can't do daily weighing it drives me crazy. I gained a little, so I've been weighing random days. I was 273.4 on Monday and I checked this morning and I'm down to 271.2! Hopefully Monday will see me in the 260s!

Dewittmba - Congrats on the baby and on getting right into the swing of things afterward. I struggle with plantar fasciitis at times. One thing that really helps is rolling my foot on a golf ball for a couple minutes several times a day. And really stretching it by putting a strap around the ball of my foot while sitting with my leg out and pulling back on the strap like I'm trying to make the top of my foot fold back to my ankle. Maybe this will help.
I did weigh in this week even though I'm only going to weigh once a month now, and I was 161.6. I was 162 when I decided to maintain, so this is good. Cathi - hang in there. Getting back on your feet after surgery takes a while. Glad you're doing OK. April - those 2 bags of fun size m&m's didn't cause your gain! You know that. It was just real life butting in where we don't expect it. You'll be back down very soon. Welcome, Chloe. Daily weighing makes me nervous. I do stick to a set day to have my official weigh in. Well, yesterday was my first slip since starting my new life. I'm not beating myself up for it, but I am trying to figure out why I did what I did. I was thinking alot about our money situation and I started to stress at work. I work at a grocery store that's in a very high end part of town so I always see people who are on vacation and spending allot of money or just going out and stuff like that or just house Moms that are stay at home Moms that are just grocery shopping and I start thinking about how we don't have allot of money and I think sometimes things would be easier if we did have more money.. And on and on... So I started snacking, telling myself I'm hungry. I need to stop stressing over the little things and just be thankful for what I do have. A wonderful husband, a wonderful Son who is a maricle, and were healthy and have jobs. That's what matters! So I am now going to focus on why I'm eating and being thankful.

Hi, all -- I just posted a re- re- (re?) introduction and have been browsing around for a place to post a weekly weigh-in since I can't hold myself accountable, in spite of my best intentions! I am trying to Weight Watchers at home because I can't afford the meetings right now. Earlier this year I had great success with Weight Watchers at Work, losing 30#. I'm really happy with the plan, but have managed to be distracted by life and baked goods and need to do something NOW to get the scale moving back downwards. This morning I was not happy to see 241.5# on the scale - a gain! - but I didn't stay on plan last week, so I wasn't surprised. Today is a new day, and I'm determined to ignore bread-y things all day long. Looking forward to getting to know more of you & to the mutual support I found here in previous attempts! Denise |

April - I'm watching your chicky to see when it changes to 60! Very soon, now. Sassy - I'm catching up from last week. You know, we all have days when we wish we were in a different situation. I'm 60 and this isn't where I thought I'd be at this age. But life is still good. More money might be nice. But eating doesn't bring more money, so just let yourself have the bad day you did and move on. When DD was small she would often, as most kids do, ask for something I couldn't afford. I would ask her if she thought we had everything we needed. She'd say we did. I'd ask her if we had more than we needed, and again she would agree that we did. Most of us have more than we need. I think it's important to keep things in perspective. I know you do - even without knowing you, really, because you have such a fantastic attitude about everything I've ever read in your posts. Someone with your outlook has to be able to see things for what they are. Just don't get discouraged by the things that are out of your control. Do the best you can in all things and most everything will fall into place. I will be weighing in on Wednesday - first Wednesday of November. We'll see how this maintenance game is going. I think things are OK - I don't notice any difference in how my jeans fit - even the dark blue ones that are the skinniest ones! We'll all know in 2 days! Have a great week! Lin |
Welcome everyone. I feel like I am finally back on track. After weighing myself this morning, I realized I am the smallest I have been in 15 years. Humbling, yet a very proud moment for me. It makes it easier to recommit to being a healthy new person.

Cath, Hello! So did everyone have a great Halloween. I had such a great time taking my son tricker or treating. I went and got my Mom and Dad and brought them over to spend time with my son and I. Now when they're around a tend to eat more since they drive me crazy. I did good, but not as goo as I wanted to do. I don't think because I was annoyed, but more because I wasn't prepared and ran out of time so we ended up having the roasted chickens for dinner baked potatoes, and chocolate cake I made for my dads birthday. I ate small portions, but I ate candy too. I'm over it. I'm sure I'll still see a loss this thursday. I hope everyone had a great Holiday and I hope your having a great Morning too! |
