+ my rumcake broke when I took it out of the pan but "glued" back together well
+ I managed to get completely caught up on accounting postings yesterday
+ my pre-started beans have all sprouted and will go into the ground this morning
+ farewell dinner for Jack & Eric as they leave to stay with their Dad in Newfoundland for the summer

+ Heather's dog, Crash, ate all the rum cake while we were eating our main course so I did not have to flex my resistance muscle! :lol:
+ I got the binding sewn onto Ted's quilt
+ Donna brought over her new puppy - a YorkiePoo - very tiny and sweet
+ had a wonderful time at our "family" dinner - I love my friends
+ I felt good in my new size 14 pants yesterday - no more saggy baggy elephant clothes
+ figured out an easy way to calculate government remittances
+ the mail strike is over with back to work legislation
+ a glorious day is unfolding and I will have time to garden today

+ Paul was here before 8 and did a quick fix on the malfunctioning sump-pump
+ I booked the UC ladies to make macaroni salad for 50-60 for the Parish picnic
+ finally found the envelope with the tax return info for the Mill
+ my veggie garden is nearly all planted
+ I'm continuing to post here although it's sort of lonely ;)

+ my pepper and tomato plants look wonderful
+ had a great week-long visit with DD who is (sadly) leaving to go back to NC today
+ got temporarily laid off - sounds bad, but it's summer and I have a ton of stuff to do outside

- DH & I are taking lots of pictures of the garden. It's nice since I must stay off the grass (uneven) and this way I can see all the flowers.
