Hi everyone! I'm at 179.4 today and am hoping to stay around here(OR LOWER), I've been bouncing from 180 to 179 for a couple of days, but today is my official start date of my diet. Which is the 3121 diet by Dolvett Quince. (This means eating 'clean' days 1,2, and 3 and then having a cheat day, then eating clean again for 2 days and then another cheat day.)
The other day (I believe friday morning) I weighed in at 177 which was so exciting because I hadn't been that low in a while - but that quickly went back up after this weekend. Weekends are always the hardest for me, but I am kind of expecting big things now that I am doing this diet and focusing on 'CLEAN' eating vs 'cheat' days. I think it'll help me in the long run for sure. The biggest thing is I have to meal prep on the weekends now. O.O but also my meals are already pre-made so theres no room for me to make excuses. |

Savemy I started a low carb type plan of eating today, it's good eating for 6 days and then a cheat day. I'm a little worried about the cheat day and I haven't even got there yet. We can do this :) |
love2b150 what plan are you on? On low-carb, a cheat day would throw you out of ketosis. Unless it's an all-the-meat-cheese-eggs-butter-you-can-eat-but-still-no-carbs kind of cheat day. (?)

shr1nk1ngme I'm not really on a plan. I am mainly trying to lower my carb intake to help with my blood sugar. So a little of Atkins and SB I guess. I am talking with another 3FC'er on another thread and she's doing her modified version of a slower carb plan. I have tried everything else and I'm hoping that if I know on Saturday that I can have the stuff I've been craving (of course still in moderation) it is worth a try. So we shall see.

Thanks shr1nk1ngme :) This morning my fbs was back down to 129. Not great but much much better. I was in the 200 for awhile, smh. Again I don't know about the cheat day. I don't want to over do it like Thanksgiving and feel miserable for two days. I may just add toast (Healthy Life brand) with my breadfast or some oat bran. Then do the bread with lunch and a snack of baked chips and a burrito made with a low carb tortilla for dinner. I'm gonna go to MFP and add it up now and see what my totals are.
