Officially weighed in at 178.8 tonight!! Yippee!!! I will do my best to keep up with posting ... But I find that I am only posting when I am on track .... Lol. And let's just say the 180's was a long decade!!!

But I'm officially over half way, I've got a new mini goal to hopefully wear a bikini to a warm Christmas vacation, so there isn't much hiding when u r in a swimsuit so I hope that will be good motivation to buckle down and get to work. I think I finally figured out a fitness schedule that will work with winter and I plan to keep it going. My plan is to run 5 k three times per week. I don't want to go overboard with working out because then I resent it and it's not fun and I get into an all or nothing mindset.

Hi Kitch! Welcome to the 70's!

I haven't moved in the last two weeks - yikes! So I started a quick two days cleanse that started today.

I've also purchased a calendar to hang by my treadmill and write "NO EXCUSES" on the very top of it. I have a goal of running at least 3x week - nothing crazy, could probably do more, but I want an achievable goal. To keep myself accountable, I'll be marking an X on each day that I go for a run.

I really want to loose 12 lbs by Christmas. This is now my new goal. I hope that you and I can help each other out! :grouphug:

Weighed in at 176.4 lbs last night :)

I am glad I am finally moving the scale down again. I also bought some clothes at Costco (size 8 pants - one blue, one red). I could barely button them up, and my boyfriend was teasing me that they looked painted on. I find it really tough to buy clothes because I do not want to spend too much money because I only plan on wearing the clothes for a couple of months, and Costco sells nice clothes for a great price but you cant try it on first. I am really not used to my new body yet, and I can't tell if a pair of pants is going to fit by holding it up!! lol

I still haven't decided yet if I am going to exchange the pants for a size 10 or if I should keep them... I think I might keep the red pants at a size 8 for motivation and get the blue pants exchanged for a size 10 so I can wear the new clothes now. I find it tough to choose not to eat bad foods when the clothes I am wearing at the time are loose and baggy...

Anyways.. I've been slacking in the exercise department and I hope to change that tonight!

Hope the rest of you are still on this thread and doing well !

Hi Shr1nk! Welcome to the 170's thread! It has been pretty quiet, so I am glad I am not alone in this decade! I would like to be outta the 170's by Christmas, so I am totally with you on getting outta here quickly!

So do you have any tips/tricks that are getting you through this week?

Time to joins the 170s thread, been making sure I'm well and truly here. I'm at 177.3 so seems safe -LOL-

Of course, with Xmas rolling along and so many Xmas functions I'm worried about stalling or even gaining. Seems like the right time to get active on the support boards :)

maybe they need to be combined so that all of the 170's are together, just a thought. Invite them over :)

Argh I hate when I have been completely on plan for days but the weight isn't moving - or in my case, goes up 1.4 pounds. I am NOT changing my ticker. I am certain it will go back down in the next day or two. Grrr. :mad:

I am only three weeks in; it is TOO EARLY for a stall. :( Especially because I am already eating VLCalorie and VLCarb. The only way to lower it any more is starvation, and I'm not doing that. If there's still no change after this week, I guess it will be time to change up the diet a bit and add in more exercise.
