Sorry sorry about your news Cheryl. I have been through that with my mother.

+ dinner that I cooked last night
+ dh went to doc yesterday and he is feeling better
I skipped this yesterday and missed it.
- I'm grateful for the perspective it brings to my day and ...
- for the good news about Sarah's procedure - it may help her MS
- for a very good pet therapy session at the nursing home
- for being able to laugh with Claire about Good Food Box screw-ups
- for remembering to shovel the wet snow off the deck before it froze last night!
I am grateful for
- everyone's posts, especially on gratitude
- a quiet train ride to work
- a bf who walks the dogs and gets the car started for me in the cold weather
- Wednesday
* My friends on the gratitude thread, especially because they really care
* While I am not rich, I can afford the healthy foods and tools that I need to help me lose weight
* My warm house
* I am 55 and still have both of my parents. Many friends of mine lost their parents years ago.
* More than enough
Oh I like this thread! I admit I've gone on a couple of rants already and I'm so new here! LOL Anyway I do have a lot to be thankful for! So here goes! I'm grateful for:
*My son who does EA Sports Active with me everyday. He's a much better motivator than the trainers on the game!
*My husband who emails me everyday to tell me how much he loves me and that I can do whatever I set my mind to.
*My own home and fitness equipment. Such a blessing when you are too self-concious to go to the gym.
I am grateful that I took me time this morning as the afternoon suddenly exploded!
I am grateful that I coped really well and cobbled together a financial report for the Football Club in less than two hours. They are gratefull too!
Grateful for:
+ Cathydoe's use of + for her list - very positive!
+ good news from CA re Sarah's procedure - she can now feel her feet - it may have worked in "fixing" her MS
+ being able to whip together the soccer club report in less than two hours
+ time to quilt for an hour yesterday
+ my purple oxalis with the white flowers - a spring note
+ another good solid night of sleep
+ a day with nothing pressing - my own choices!
* Made it to work even after the car started cutting up
* My siblings
* Had an on-plan day yesterday and got my exercise in
* My shoulder is a little better.
* Family, friends, indoor plumbing, 3FC, Cell phones and Internet
I'm grateful
+ that it is lunch time and I get to leave at 1 today
+ my bf is picking me up and going to court with me
+ for a surprise visit and a treat from my BF last night after a crummy day
+ for Wii sports and hand weights to get my work out in last night
+ tomorrow is Friday (and a possible snow day)
- Yesterday I needed to take my mom all around to do her errands (2 banks, drug store and the grocery store) For the banks and drug store I didn't need to go in. I brought my journal and Beck book. It gave me alot of focused time. It was good because I am leaving for a few days today.
- As far as the food out of town goes, I am bringing some softish things - banana's, applesauce, oatmeal, no salt soup...Grateful for the willingness to plan ahead.
- the big snow is over for now and it's suppose to be clear driving this afternoon when we head out on the road. However, it's really cold out. Also, I am grateful for warmth on this extra cold morning.
- mom's back is feeling a little better
- my family, my friends, you all, FB, internet, cell phone, music
