Yay! I worked out good last night! We were running late so I had to make dinner and sit to eat with everyone, then exercise - which I hate to do! Normally I cook fast, work out then we all sit to eat. Exercising after I have eaten is the pits and I know I definitely cannot jog/run or I will toss my cookies! Since I have this darn cold and TOM, I wasn't too keen on running anyway, so I settled on walking - with a twist!

Normally I have the incline on 2.5, but last night I decided to warm up at that incline then every minute go up a notch, then when I got to 10 I would kick the speed up to 3.5 and do that for 10 mins and then start over. I thought that was going to be easy...Boy was I wrong! What a challenging and fun work out! All this while listening to Miles Davis' - Kinda Blue album...What a genius, that man! So to sum it up, excellent music and excellent work out! I am really feeling some soreness (the good kind) in my hip flexors and lower abdomen today. I think I might get some stretching in this afternoon at lunch and loosen them up, maybe do a few Yoga poses in my office.

Thanks for the well wishes, I am feeling way better today, my girlies!

Diana- I didn't get a chance to say it, but you are really doing awesome! I am so encouraged by your success! So much, that after my starving fiasco, I took a really good look at my diet and calories and came up with a really balanced and filling diet at around 1400 cals per day + plus a hot chocolate! hehehehe

Kris, Angie,Coon, Ona, Kukkie and Vixsin - You gals are so sweet and genuine. I am so lucky to have met you all and be a part of this group! I feel inspired by our combined successes and I know we will get to our goals! Even with all the setbacks and obstacles life puts in our paths, we can come here, share with each other and be encouraged to keep pushing forward. You can't find that everywhere. Thanks for being here!

I have totally lost my focus. Life hasn't slowed down for me at all since the beginning of the month and I just haven't been doing what I know I need to do. I have been dipping into the unhealthy snacks in the kitchen at work and hitting the candy dish, not eating like I should and haven't even remotely had time to go to the gym. It's like I realized I wasn't going to hit my end of year goal (to be under 200) so I've just stopped. I feel like I need a big long nap and maybe when I wake up I'll be ready to go. My focus at work is off too. I bought myself a really cute/classy black tweed dress (http://www.target.com/Merona-Collect...i_detailbutton) that I would like to wear to my work Christmas luncheon but it's still a little too small and I'm going the wrong direction. I probably have about 3 1/2 - 4 weeks until we do our lunch (my boss is the last-minute type). Even if the dress doesn't fit well enough by then, it would be nice to know I gave it my best shot. You ladies are all doing great . . . sorry I've been behind on personals.

Kris - I really like the dress. I absolutely know the feeling of losing focus. I just jumped back on plan yesterday. It really hit me on the weekend, no matter what I do, life just isn't going to slow down for me just yet, so I needed to find a way to make it work in my lifestyle. I don't have all the answers, but I'm sure going to try my best to work for it.

I hope I'm back! I've mostly recovered from my darn cold, ugh, it knocked me to the ground for nearly a week. I haven't had such a horrible cold! Also dealing with lots of snow, which means no driving for me ... today was the first time I've driven in nearly a week! I'm accepting my weight, and adjusting the ticker, hate to do that... but it's time to accept it and move onward.. and DOWNWARD!

This mornings WI was 262.6.

Lnoelparis Wow! 2.6 pounds is awesome! Thank you for your kind words, too. Hee Hee, gotta have that hot chocolate. What brand is your favorite. Right now, if I want a treat I will have a Dove Dark Chocolate Promise. They are really good and only about 45 calories a piece. I can easily work that treat into my plan.

Kris I really like that dress. I'm sorry you have lost your focus. It's tough, I know. You have also had so much going on. Maybe just follow your plan (how you eat), do that without fail, don't worry about your focus. It will come back to you. Just "fake it until you make it".

I am fired up for tomorrow! There is NO WAY I am going to let this holiday ruin my work. I saw a new low today AND I'm wearing a shirt that I haven't worn in almost a year AND ITS BAGGY!!!!!!

We have all come way too far to let food win tomorrow. That's what it wants and that's what it has ALWAYS done. Now we change that! WE will win over the food tomorrow! WE will be victorious! We WILL eat to live NOT LIVE TO EAT!!!!!

You all are amazing and inspire me everyday! I am thankful for ALL of you!

Down 1.2 as well today! 195.1 this morning!

I almost feel like I didn't earn this, because I had a serious battle of the wills yesterday about going to the gym and I had every intention of going even though I didn't want to. But then I started picking out my wedding pictures--I got married over a year ago, but I just haven't gotten around to picking the ones I want in the album, and hubby's getting kinda antsy about it! Anyway, so I started picking out pics and before I knew it, it was close to 10pm and the gym closes at 10:30 so I skipped it. Part of me felt really guilty and a small part of me was secretly relieved because I really wasn't in the mood to go.

Today's also my super long day because I have French class after work and I only brought lunch, not dinner with me. So, I'm going to have to make every and I mean really every effort to make good choices so I don't lose this mini-whoosh.
