That is one of the very hardest parts of owning an animal!

Default More puppy hugs

Hugs from me and my Great Pyrenees, Hunter and Lupine. They're both pretty young - Hunter is 3 and Lupine is 1. I've also lost some elderly animal friends recently - they were older than my children -- and it is the most amazingly difficult thing. Remember how wonderful a family member your puppy is, though, and spend some time cherishing!

I absolutely LOVE this idea! As homeschoolers this will be right up our alley.

Hubby set the appt up for Friday at 5:30, my MIL will hopefully watch the kids so I can go with him, I don't want him to do this alone.

Now I need to decide if we tell the kids before we go so they can say goodbye (and possibly give MIL a hard time) or if we should drop them off (they are just a short ways from us) and then come back for Beana and then tell them once we are home.
