- fun dinner with sister Joan, my BIL and two cousins last night
- love my new glasses
- red oak leaves and copper beech together in the woods - glorious colour
- picked up the pinned quilt for machine quilting
- a day of sunshine and golden leaves on my lane
- my cold seems to be leaving

+ A good nights sleep (didn't even get up to go potty!!!!)

- When little GS chased a duck and ran right into a pond, thinking the algae on the surface was grass. - Grateful DS jumped in and swooped him up in 5 feet of pond muck. It all happenned in ten seconds. Both were shook up - but safe.
- my 3fc friends who care about each other. The web has made friendships take on a different way of having friends. Gosh you folks know more about my day to day life than other people in my life. It's even different that DH's relationship in a way ... I think you know what I mean.

My parents who are so awesome and whom I appreciate for who they are. hot showers friends, fb, 3fatchicks healthy food my new indoor stationary bike fall and colorful leaves my beautiful 7 year old niece tasty Thai food (The Moon restaurant)

this thread especially because it allows me a moment to pause the sunshine coming in the window the newspaper article about me in last nights paper...I am VERY honored! Christmas for Kids has begun and we all look so bright eyed and bushy tailed at our meeting last night my aunt has arrived at her new home...and I am relieved to know she is safe and sound

For 3FC because it has given me new motivation. Gives me someone to talk about weightloss and not be bored or put out with me. Wonderful post to read to get to know you all better!
- I had a healthy food day yesterday. So grateful. I have switched to food exchanges via the Richard Simmons Food Mover.(from years ago) It is such a good reminder to me that my day needs to include lots of veggies, etc and the other basics. Diabetics use exchanges - I am almost prediabetic, so I hope it helps me to make good choices. Right now it seems easier and fresh.
- Aunt Mackie gave me a motorized scooter - to help me a bit as my feet heal. I won't use it exclusively. (I'll use it more after my surgery) This makes doing non weightbearing exercises even more important so I don't lose the few muscles I already have.
