when I'm at the halfway point (37 lbs down), I'm going to buy myself one of those special hiking backpacks. Y'know... one of those with the water bladders in it and all? I've ALWAYS wanted one...

When I get to 199, I'm going to get a nice, relaxing 1 hour massage. I can't wait!

I need to think of some smaller rewards for my smaller goals....

I've been doing my journey is terms of five pound mini goals. Each one of those I'll get my self a new lipstick or socks or handlotion or note cards, etc.

I need to think about getting under 200. Hmmmm...lots of good ideas here.

I've never been one for delayed gratification (WOW could that have anything to do with me getting over 300 lbs?? nooooo heh) so waiting for 20 pounds before i buy a book doesn't work for me -- my DH is the reward fairy! When I lost 50 lbs he bought me a Sony E-Reader (BEST. Invention. EVER), and the big 100 was a new iMac (i'm sensing an electronic theme here...) I'm hoping @ goal he'll get me a house cleaning ROBOT hahahahahah.

One fun thing I did for a while was to tuck cash away into a can -- the cash was the difference between what i used to spend on weekends for junk. The $8 Mcdonalds lunch & the $5 dairy queen treat for BOTH DAYS, and the $5 in candy and soda etc., MINUS the money I spent on my new lunches (a sandwich, or some soup, salad etc.) and wow did it add up! After a few months I had enough to buy the Wii and then the Wii FIT! insane!!! For everyone who says eating healthy is too expensive, pffffft you're dreamin' !

I'm mixing up my rewards for goals in weight loss, exercise progress, and quitting smoking.

Some of my rewards include new running shoes, a deep tissue/hot rock massage & spa, a really sexy dress that doesn't make me look lumpy and old, and an orange sapphire ring.

My ultimate goal rewards are custom-fit jeans from IndiDenim, shoes from Naughty Monkey, a mad shopping spree at Victoria's Secret, and having my niece who is a tailor make this LBD for me.

I love reading about people's reward ideas!

At 25 lbs down I bought myself a bike. At 50 I'm getting an iPad (though that might be delayed gratification until they come out with version 2 in the fall). I plan on using it to watch movies at the gym on Netflix so I can stay on the elliptical longer, lol. At 75 pounds down, I haven't decided yet. Maybe a massage or something. At 100, it's a whole new wardrobe, and at goal (2 pounds later), my friend and I are going on a "hot men" cruise together. She's shorter than me, but started at the same BMI, and she has been doing it about 6 months longer so she's already at almost 70 pounds lost.
