Question Has anyone used any of the Biggest Loser DVD's?

Hey there, I'm wondering if anyone has used any of the Biggest Loser DVD's.

Yesterday I purchased "The Biggest Loser Cardio Max workout", "The Biggest Loser 30-Day Jump Start" and "The Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout." I haven't tried any of them yet and was planning on starting them today.

I have never tried any sort of exercise DVD before, I'm wondering if someone can suggest one of those three to start out with. I'm certain I wont be able to last for the entire length of the video but plan to try it out every day during the week until I'm able to do a full video.

Also, anyone that has used any of the videos. Is there a noticeable difference in your overall weight loss from using the videos? and if so how many times a day/how long do you use them for?

You are going to LOVE these workouts! I started my weight loss journey doing the cardio max dvd 6 days a week in the am before work and walking my dog. I changed my eating habits, not drastically, and drank lots of water through out the day and I lost a good amount of weight in just one month. The cardio max dvd let's you choose how long the workout is, it has three different levels. You start with the beginner level, i think they call it week 1 or something like that and you do just the first level for 2 weeks and then after 2 weeks you add level 2 so now you are doing level 1 and 2 for 2 weeks and then after that you add level 3 and are doing all 3 levels for 2 weeks totaling 6 weeks. I started looking forward to seeing Bob, Jillian and Kim every morning. And you only need a small set of dumbells, well actually i think you only really need one to add some difficulty. Mine was only 5 pounds and I used it the entire time. Theres this one part where Bob has you getting on the floor and holding pushup position. When I first started that was KILLER but as the weeks went on it got easier and easier. I used to not be able to do a single pushup on my toes, so I just did the modified on your knees type. And now I can do about 20 at a time. And you don't even have to do just one dvd at a time you can combine the other ones you've bought too depending on how much you wanna work out. I really love the bl dvd's they were a great start for me and I think you will love them too.

Sorry I rambled so much but i'm just so excited for you!

Edited to add: If you'll notice, I was around the same weight as you for starting out so don't let yourself get discouraged when it gets rough. What I love about the bl workouts is the people on the videos aren't extremely skinny like you see in other home workouts. They aren't 'beachbodies' they are overweight people just like us and they are sweating it out! I kept telling myself that if they could do it I could too.

LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!!!!!!

And yes, they will kick your butt! I started with the 30day shred. It was rough the first 2 days but by the end of the week it was getting easier and easier. I also have the power sculpt and cardio max I havent tried yet. Unfortunately I have had to stop doing them. I moved into an upstairs unit and I don't think jumping jacks from a 250lb chick are going to make the neighbors friendly. It's only short term and I can't WAIT to get back to my DVD's!

Thanks All!

I decided to give the Cardio Max one a try. I had no idea I was THIS out of shape until I felt like I was going to die after the warm up! I ended up pushing myself as far as I could go, didn't complete the first workout but I absolutely loved it!! Im sure it will take a while for me to be able to complete a full workout, but from this point on it will only get easier

I like most of The Biggest Loser workouts though the 30 Day Jump Start, in my opinion, sucks. I hated it and I tossed it in the trash. My favorite is Last Chance Workout from the Biggest Loser DVDs.

Good luck with em

I had the 30 day shred and only did it 2 days lol I LOVE the yoga ones - Jillian's yoga meltdown and the other one with bob. I also have the last chance work out. That thing kicks my butt to the curb! lol I want to get Bob's new DVD collection.

I got really discouraged by the Bootcamp. It's this one move that kills me - the one where you jump up and then touch the ground, jump your feet back, back up and then stand up. I seriously couldn't do more than one.
I went back to the WiiFit and have been working out at the gym. Maybe it's time for another try...
