And wow, I totally forgot about this but when I was about 14 I took out the kids I was babysitting for some ice cream, who were around 5 and 8. The youngest one started to wander a little too close to the back while we were ordering, and the lady behind the counter snapped at him to go back to his mother!

Me, barely in high school! I was pretty big back then, had to borrow a lot of my mom's clothes (yuck!), and my short hair wasn't very flattering on me, so I looked horribly matronly for my age. I also got mistaken for a teacher by one of the new students during freshman orientation. When I reached my mid 20's people who hadn't seen me in years often commented that I looked a lot younger than when I was in school . . . in fact I bet I'd still be told the same thing now in my mid 30's!
