Diana - That DEFINITELY could be it! I looove salt on really really cold, almost frozen, cucumbers. I've since stopped that habit. Yum though.

Aimee - Glad everything is back to normal. Nice drop!!

Aimee I did workout yesterday, but it wasn't anything really tough. I think that extra sodium I had got really friendly with all of water I had to drink yesterday. They decided to hang out together for a while longer.

I was quite surprised this morning to see a 0.8 drop on the scale after that second helping of sour cream-y goodness last night, but I'll take it! 257.4

This is my exact routine, lol. It works out well.

Diana: Instead of salt, I use hot sauce on my veggies and bland foods. It too has sodium, but not near as much as much as if I was to salt them.

I am down 0.4 off of my 3 day plateau of 269 to 268.6.

TMI question, but I stopped the pill seasonal last may because I had blood clots in my lungs due to it. Has anyone went off the pill after a while and had TOM take almost a year to come back and then just basically spot everyday?? And would that effect weight you think?? I just now got TOM, and has been spotting for 3 days straight.

Congrats to the losers, and esp. Gourmet Bean for the goal shorts!!!

I went back and looked at my WIs for March and April, and it reminded me that this pattern is common for me. I lose the first half of the month and the last half is a bit of a roller coaster. One more reason I'm glad for daily WI is that I had this info right in front of me and it helps me feel motivated to stay on plan even with the ups and downs right now.

I see that my ooga-booga dance only worked for some people w/ losses. I tried? I won't do it again. It didn't really work for me either.

Patchwork: Up .4, not bad at all, most likely just a little water. About my TOM excitement, I'm just so sick of dangling in the high 250's. Just want it to come and go so I can try to get the show on the road again. Not very excited right now, sore, I feel like a big blob of blah.

SwimGirl: Congrats on the loss! Nice one!!

Uber: Congrats to you!

Gourmet: Congrats on your goal shorts! I can't wait for the day I feel comfy to show my legs again in public.

Diana: Tonight when you sleep, I'm going in your cabinets and around your neighborhood to hide all of the salt on you. Sodium is my weakness too, having a hard time staying low sodium right now as a test to see how much of a difference it makes w/ tom on the scale.

Ayden: Happy to see you budge off of your plateau! They're so frustrating.

Eclipse: Hang in there, sweetie. A drop is right around the corner!

Aimee: Glad things are back to normal for you. Yay!!

Everyone else: Congrats on your losses! Stalls will pass!!!

Me...grrr... up 1 lb to 259.4 (from 258.4) .....My fault. I was so crampy last night and my back and stomach were so sore from laps and ab exercises on Sunday night that I just couldn't hang on the elliptical for more than 12 minutes last night. Even then, I was pushing myself and not into it. My appetite is really down right now and I didn't even hit anywhere near 1200 calories yesterday, it was only "almost" 800. I really did try though. Trying to drink lots of water, even that's hard with a low appetite. I need to try harder and need some kicks in the behind.

I'm not changing my ticker til tom is over.

Rox - Woohoo for dropping despite the second helping.

Aydenzmoma - You too! Keep it going chickie! No more plateauing! (Don't we all wish, haha)

PM - Thanks much! It's so nice to be able to look back and realize these patterns that we all go through, isn't it? People don't always realize just how helpful daily weighing really is! It actually keeps us sane!

Kelly - Sorry to hear about the cramping . That's definitely not any fun. If it makes you feel better I didn't get any exercise in at alllll. I was too busy running around. Get to eating though!! Even if its just some small snacking here and there. Whodathunk that you'd need to be told that?

Calories for yesterday: 1665

Weigh In: 223.6

Down: .8 from yesterday

Still up: .4 from my original low

It must have been fluid. Those Taco Bell quesadilla's with the packets of hot sauce, and zuchinni with salt must have caught up with me. Like everyone has been saying, if that was my one weigh in day for the week, and it said I had gained that would have been disheartening.

GB - Congrats on fitting in the goal shorts. Time to go shopping for a new goal item! I’m working on fitting in these adorable pink and charcoal plain capris that will be my first item in a single digit size since I wasn’t far from a single digit age, lol. I can button and zip, but they look awful and feel like I’m about to tear them. I’m hoping to wear them on vacation in mid July.

Cita - Congrats on sticking to it and learning that this can be done.

Diana - have you ever tried some salsa with your zucchini? I love zucchini and salsa is one of my favorite things to put with it. I also sometimes put some vinegar on veggies or a few drops of a decent cooking wine. Glad to see you are getting some of it flushed away. Sodium is bad, we hates it we do!

SwimGirl - congrats and I hope the hike goes well, I’m probably going to be doing some hiking this weekend - though being landlocked as we are it won’t be through any sand dunes. I miss home.

MissKelly - I’ve had those days. I hope your appetite is back to normal soon and that you can send the cramps packin'.

Mellington - You are doing awesome!

As for me my .8 from the BBQ is gone and it took an entire pound with it. I am down 1.8 today to 171.4. That's a new all time low for me. My previous low before my surgery was 171.8, so I’m .4 below it. Take that surgery weight! Take that yummy but high sodium BBQ!

My stomach is not a fan of salsa. I'm not a fan of vineagar. The packets of hot sauce was pushing it for me. I used to be able to eat anything and everything, not anymore.

Diana - well, a very low sodium and extremely low calorie way I sometimes add flavor to things is to blend some herbs in some plain fat free yogurt and use that as a sauce. It even makes a decent ranch if you blend some with some of the powdered hidden valley stuff. I make this really yummy sauce for asparagus by blending the yogurt with some butter buds and a drop or 2 of almond extract. You can add a little skim milk if you want a thinner sauce/dressing.
