I don't want to exercise today
I have a headache that has been nonstop since 5 PM
Cranky doc STILL has not called back with lab results
I am tired and sleepy
The kid made me crazy all afternoon and it is finally quiet now that she's in bed and NOOOO I do not want to workout or do chores or anything
I rather sleep
PMS crampy bloaty, want chocolate
I rather eat ice cream and read a book
I don't know where any clean sports bras are
Soooooo not in the mood. Bad, bad, bad mood.
Those were all the reasons.
Now I'm putting on a stinky bra, and marching over to the living room to slap a DVD in and get the $($%&#$)* done already.

Ok. 30 min workout done, 300 calories burned, written in log.
I have a headache still but less
Will call doc in morning
I am tired and sleepy but looking forward to bath
DId workout. Forget the chores. I'm done for today.
I rather sleep -- yup!
If I still want chocolate tomorrow, I will have a piece at lunch.
Will skip ice cream but read a bit before bed
Stinky bras will do in a pinch -- will try to get a load washed tomorrow.
Better mood overall. I feel more in control and less crazed.
Yay!

Thanks, gals.
I knew that posting my cranky here would prompt be to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT because then I'd feel accountable to someone.
So I did.
Knowing this group is here 24/7 is a huge boost!

Atta girl!!!
Like we feel like getting up to work every morning, or cleaning the toilets or doing the laundry - nope, shocking, but we just don't always feel like doing it - but we do it anyway. And you most certainly did.
But I've got to ask you - what in the world did you do to burn
300 calories in 30 minutes? I can't even fathom what that could possibly be...

I wear my heart rate monitor so I know what to write down in my log. Got my heart rate up enough to burn 300.
I was doing the last workout of Kim Lyons: Sit Down and Shape Up with 3 lbs for the resistance part and 2 lbs for the power walk.
It's the "purple" DVD and it was workout #6.

I like this series a lot because she doesn't make me crazy and even when I'm in a funk I can bang it out. Blue I outgrew quickly because blue is the easiest of the set.
I'm still doing the green and purple because I can always up the weights.
I def. give it a
for beginners.

WOOO HOOOOOO! Awesome job getting out of your own head! I love the laundry list we give ourselves to NOT do something, all of the time we took doing that - we could have done it already!
FABULOUS JOB ASTROPHE!!!!!

But you made the right choice and I need to as well. I have 3 hours before work, so as soon as this posts I'm going to work out for at least a half hour.

I did more like 45 minutes and focused on cardio then had a nice bath! It didn't hurt me one bit, hehe.
I appreciate the motivation of your thread, you had way more reasons not to exercise but did anyway, so I knew there was no reason for me to skip working out. So thanks!!
