I can finally fit into cute underwear with out being uncomfortable. I always see cute things at Layne Bryant but usually do not buy them because when I get home they just don't fit right with my saggy post baby belly. Well, today I pulled out a pair and they fit great. I am so excited. Just wait till I can wear stuff from Victoria's Secret. I think DH will have to put me on an underwear budget.
I have some cute/sexy and very comfortable underoos (lol) from Frederick's of Hollywood. They usually have a deal where you can get so many pairs for this low price. Definitely worth a look!
I understand! LOL! I never graduated to granny panties because I refused, even though what I was wearing liked to roll down. I didn't care, I refused to go up. But now the little size 14's I've been wearing even though I wore a size 20 pants, fit! No more plumber butt, as my husband loved to point out!
Ha! I almost posted a thread of the same name. I never downsized on underwear-- I was still wearing my old granny panties that pulled up to my boobs. But I went to the store yesterday and I was SO OVERWHELMED by the choices!! I stood there for about ten minutes just totally confused.
I love it!! I was telling my husband this past weekend I can start wearing thongs again. He got excited. We went to Frederick's and I saw a lot of stuff. I didn't buy anything because I wanted to wait until I'm not with him so I can surprise him.
Good for you, MomtoThree. I've continued wearing my granny panties, though they are enormous & puff out on me like diapers & poke above the waistband accidentally sometimes, because 1) I am cheap & I still have many pairs that I haven't gotten good use from; and 2) very few people see them, as opposed to outerwear.
My goal is to throw them all out gradually & replace them with nice underwear.
Actually, I'm thinking about making new underwear a non-food-reward & motivation for making fitness- or weight-loss-related goal (which I haven't yet decided on).

DH asked me to get rid of the granny panties. He likes the nice underwear and now that it fits I am going to wear it. I have being wearing my maternity underwear from my first pregnancy in 2001. So, I guess it is time to give them up.
