Hey ladies and gents - checking in here, though I don't have a weight update. Life is busy with work and timetabling enough sleep each night (!), but I'm still and, drat it, I'm not giving up

Oh, hooray, my body has released the bloat, and I had a mini-whoosh down to 197.8 this morning. Fingers crossed for everybody who's been working so darn hard to get some nice big whooshes in short order!

That oughta do it! But don't be surprised if you gain or stall for a while. You're right where I stalled for a month BECAUSE I added exercise. I realize you said "step up" the exercise, meaning you're already doing it, but still...more intensity may make your body go wonky at first.

Is it too late to join the challenge? I've been cocking around and have managed to maintain since I lost 52 lbs. from Jan-Oct last year. However, I am getting married (it's a looooooong story!) again in June and would love love LOVE to be under 200 lbs.! It's only 16 lbs., for goodness sake!!!

So my goal for this week is no sweets, no extra snacks. (I weight on Thursday mornings, btw.)

Go for it, Jennelle. The more the merrier!

I'm down to 196.6 this morning. Holy freaking cow, that's 1.6 pounds from goal. Which I am totally going to reset, since I'm not done yet, but I want to crush that sucker before I reset. And! And! And! The fat is finally starting to come off my last stubborn areas. My waist is getting more sharply defined all the time, and my upper arms are shrinking as well. I mean, those areas have been shrinking all along, with the rest of me, but not as noticeably as, say, my hips, legs, bum and face/neck/upper body. So I don't know for sure where my final goal is going to be, but I'm probably going to reset for about 175/180, once I kick this last 1.6 to the curb.

What amazes me is that pretty much everything I thought about my body 'type' has proven to be wrong. The more I excavate myself from the fat, the more it appears that my body type isn't hourglass, pear or apple, nope, it's pretty typical tall-girl willowy, which is WEIRD, let me tell you.

I hopped on the scale this morning thinking "Go, me, it's gonna be a great weigh-in because I have been on fire lately." I get on and it says 208. WHAT?? That can't be right, so I get on a again and get 204.4. WHAT?? That's a new low for this journey. So, just to be "sure" I step on again and get 206.8 and then again and get 206.8. What the heck??!!??! So, officially it's 206.8, but I am really confused. Maybe I should get a new scale?

eh went to the doc and the scale said 206.8 while my home scale said 204.8..i need to stop trying to "race" this weight loss because its making me somewhat dissapointed, so i wont report back into this thread until i make it but either way i will be in onederland before march ends!
