great plan, apryl...
and here are some other strategies, in case you get stuck...
time your eating. no more than 20 minutes.
split an entree, even though that'll leave you without the all-important doggie bag for tomorrow... but for something that's a little <ahem> off program, it might be a thought so that you don't indulge again QUITE so quickly
have a yummy appetizer and salad... i've been enjoying [and the main word here is ENJOYING] shrimp cocktails and caesar salads at a local seafood place. they have the FRESHEST shrimp and they add extra horseradish to their cocktail sauce...
put ALL the bread out of reach. or, if you MUST have a piece, rip out all the fluffy stuff in the center and just eat the outside.
and of course, the dressing on the side... but it's also possible to boost protein and decrease the amount of dressing by asking for some romano or parmesan cheese with your salad. add it for extra flavor and few calories. i KNOW you won't dump the whole shaker on your salad.
you're doing GREAT!!!!!!
