Why did you think that was small?? I bet you felt like Rocky when you realized you made it up the hill and weren't winded. It's okay, cause we need those small victories to keep us going. SO DO YO THANG MATT!!! You ready for Rock Climbing??? LOL

Matt-- you inspired me. Last spring, I was doing whatever I could to avoid walking to the end of my cul de sac-- straight down a hill and straight back up.

But with my mom visiting, my little one wanted to go for a walk in the stroller, and my mom, in her seventies, came along.

I had to stop to rest not once but SEVERAL times, and I could tell how shocked my mom was.

So, after I read your post, I walked down the hill with my dog then back up. I was a little winded walking up the hill-- but not in a bad way-- I felt great. No thought whatsoever of needing to stop.

Thanks for your inspiration!
