Great Going Beth!!!! You are on your way!. I have chosen to do pure protein and a mass of water. It is working beautifully! It is how I suceeded so well before. I have to get it going again and I thought perhaps now my body was ready. It is. I know I will hit a stop now and then as my body adjusts and I have no problem with that. But I do have a question...............
If it weren't for my clothes I would not even know I had lost well over 60 lbs. I see no difference. Others do but I don't. Is that weird or what?
Yes the babies are adorable for sure and what fabulous marking they have! You would'nt believe it. Another amazing thing is they are not even two weeks old and most of them have their eyes open already!!! They have grown like crazy too. I think feeding Nicky so well and giving her extra protein has had a real effect. They will be so very healthy!!!! The nice thing about children of the fur I do admit is they don't talk back, are always loving and far less problems growing up but........ I would far rather my Daughter had lived. I would have gladly dealt with it all. Instead I have wonderful children of the fur. It all works out.

Hey Beth Anne, ask your OB about the Mirena IUD- it is a very low dose of time released hormones on a tiny IUD- it has been life changing for me, I know they like to put them in women who have had at least one kid but I believe that it has more to do with fears of non-monogamy leading to a STD (which is silly if you are happily married right?) Anyway it slows bleeding way way down, me, from 8 days total, 4 super-heavy to 4 days total only one of even a moderate flow, and diminshed cramping and PMS too. It lasts 5 years and is reversible at any moment. Oh and in about 20% of women you stop bleeding all together after the first year. I am very sensitive to hormonal stuff. and this doesn't bother me at all.

Hello all,

I am having a very frusterating time. I am gaining and don't know why. I suppose it could be stress that is causing some of the weight gain. I just don't know what to do about it. I am plugging away at getting money in the house. I am thinking about doing after school daycare so I can get caught up on some bills. I think my daughter would love this and the little ones I really don't know what they would think of it. But I am at the verge of giving up. I know I should not but I am. I am going swimming with the kids and will start taking water areobics classes in September. They just made them free to members of the YMCA. Well there goes that excuse for exercising. (Everything I like to do costs money.) I hope this is just a slump. They also have incorporated a child care center in the evenings for the kids to go to. It only costs 15 dollars a month for unlimited care. I will be taking advantage of that. Well I guess I will be going for a while. I will be lurking but may not post for awhile. I just need to take some time to myself and get my life straightened out. Thanks all for being such good people.

Tamara, I'm so sorry you are in frustration alley. Sometimes we just don't get our bodies to cooperate. We'll miss you if you don't post for a while but if that's what you need, that's what you do. Try to do some reading though till you're ready.

Maybe just concentrate on maintaining what you HAVE lost. I heard Delta Burke on tv once saying she loses about 20 pounds and then maintains to give her body time to adjust and when she's ready goes for the next 20. Sounds like a plan to me.

I'm sure you'll feel better when you get into water aerobics. I do water workouts (it's basically the only kind of exercise I can do) and it REALLY tones you once you're doing it regularly. So if you can do that, drink water and not binge, I hope your body will adjust and eventually you'll be ready to outchallenge us all.

Till then, take care.

Hi ladies -

Just dropping in to say "I'm alive", albeit running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Students came back this week, and I'm up to my eyeballs in paper. Plus, I learned something very important about myself. Since Monday, I basically have had nothing to eat OR drink from about 7 in the morning until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I have a one track mind, and allow myself to be completely consumed by my job. I can't even think about what effect this has on my metabolism, but it sure explains weighing 240 lbs.!!! Something for me to spend some time on this week-end

Hope everyone is keeping well, or at the very least, hanging on. I sure do miss reading threads every day...

Deb
