Always wondered about the steel cut oats. Where I live, the closest I could get to that is the local feed store, lol. Rolled oats. Wonder if they would sell me a pound? tee hee.

It does sound good. Next time I head to Cheyenne, will look up a health food store and get some, they do sound good.

For those of you who can't find it close by, I bought a case of organic steel cut oats on Amazon for a pretty good price.

I also find it much quicker to cook them if I soak them overnight. I just measure it out the correct ratio of oats to water, soak overnight right in the pot, and cook the rest of the way in the morning.
