That's one of the many diets I've tried in the past, but honestly I couldn't get past the first two days. I couldn't get past the fact that everything looked and tasted awful and that it wasn't real food.
I've been much more successful and HAPPY with counting calories and aiming for healthy foods. Personally I think you're better off learning to eat healthy foods since in reasonable portions that's what you're going to have to do after the weight is gone to keep it off. That isn't to say that there aren't people who have done well on Medifast (there is also a Medifast forum on 3FC you may want to check out too), but I like to eat too much to do it.
