Default fitbit?

Has anyone read up on this new gadget coming out? It looks really neat and less expensive than the body bugg with no monthly fee for the service or website.

I'd love to get people's opinions. How have you successful ladies tracked your excercise and activity levels?

Wow... that looks pretty cool. Probably not something I would buy because it's not in our budget to have gadget things (heck I don't even own an mp3 player!), but if it was something I could justify the money for I probably would.

I just track my focused exercise on fitday.

PS... I'm not too far from Tunkhannock

Wow, I am amazed I have found someone that knows where Tunkhannock even is.

I use thedailyplate to track my calories, and they have excercise on there as well, I am just not real certain it's very accurate.

Hehe... I'm in, or well just outside of Danville. Back in the day... way back in the day..lol... I used to come to Tunkhannock several times a year for football games.. my ex was a Berwick fan (YUCK!!) and he had to go to every single game.

I'm not sure how accurate fitday is either.. but it does seem close to other things I have looked at. My main thing is to shoot for 30 minutes of focused exercise a day... some days it just doesn't happen, but I try. I would like to work up to an hour minimum... and some days I get close, but I'm a homeschooling mom of 4 kids... somedays even if I have the best of intentions the kids need me more.

I know Tunkhannock too! Well, years ago it was the name on the back of my friend's car - of the bazillion gold/tan Toyota Corolla's in a southern college town, his was the one that said Tunkhannock on the back. LOL!

This fitbit looks interesting, and at the price...I'm going to look into it.

Fitbit doesn't measure the same things at GWF/BB = It's closer to a pedometer.
