Okay, so for the last couple of days I have taken the time and tracked my calories. So far I've been under 1,400 which I'm happy about. It's not been as big a PITA as I thought it would be. Will admit to keeping things simple though. Anyway, my biggest WOW discovery is the amount of calories in the DD coffees I've been drinking. I usually get an XL with cream and Splenda. Well, I had no idea that innocent drink was costing me 150 calories. So today I had coffee at work with non-dairy creamer instead. Saved 110 calories by doing that. I know I should use skim milk or black but I just can't go that far yet.

I'm a work in progress.........

Great job on figuring out the coffee thing. I drink a lot of coffee and use the coffee-mate sugar free vanilla creamer (the powder). If I don't really watch it that creamer can send me over the edge on my calories for the day.

Today my DH went and got some pastries for the kids as a breakfast treat. He came back with 2 Starbucks Mocha Frappuchinos for us as well (the larger bottle). It was so bleeping hard to turn that down!! But I had to - that bottle had a whopping 300 calories in it! I was stunned. And quite sad, too - I loved those things

So hard to say no to things sometimes. I was so proud of myself today. We have a client that when she comes in always brings a box of chocolates from a local specialty shop. Today when she came in bearing gifts, I thanked her then after she left, I gave my box to my co-worker without even looking in it. I couldn't bear to see the goodies inside. Hard to do, but felt empowering almost to give it away.

Thank you Thighs. Hard for me to do but I knew I had to do it for my own good. 2 months ago I would have had 1/2 the box eaten by the end of the day.

Is that Dunkin Donuts? I just make coffee at home, to expensive, cash and calorie wise.

Yep that would be Dunkin Donuts. Today I actually got a large w/ skim milk and Splenda. 45 calories. I honestly can't tell that much of a difference.

I don't do DD every day but do go there before work a lot of mornings. I have trouble getting up early enough to allow myself to eat breakfast or have coffee before work. Do need to work on that.......lol

Can anyone tell me after following all the steps to add a signature mine still doesn't show up? The separation line is even there but the weight tracker I created and copied & pasted doesn't show.

Congrats on giving up the chocolate! Last week I was home alone, my kids were gone, this can be dangerous!....There was a small box of chocolates that were calling my name, really screaming actually. I just buckled, I open them..... they were smashed and melted. I don't know how this happened but I was very lucky! Not hard to give up chocolate that looks like poop!
