Default Is it just because I'm hungry?

I've noticed that my food just tastes so much better now!

I made something for supper I've made many times before--and it was so good.

Now, I have noticed that food generally does taste better when I've been hungry for it--but this is happening so consistently! (Of course, I'm not eating until I do feel hungry--about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours)

Could there be some sort of change in my taste buds, too? Has my "clean eating" done something to them, perhaps?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Good for you!

Changing your eating lifestyle makes a world of difference in your life. You learn to appreciate food from a whole new perspective. It's even better when you prepare the food yourself. Such a feeling of accomplishment!

Enjoy....

I know for me that when I stick to clean eating, and eating when I'm hungry the food taste so much better. For instance, I used to not like cottage cheese and especially wouldn't touch the stuff unless it was drowning in some sort of fruit that I liked. I had it plain last night with just a few Fiber Select Wheat Thins and I was in heaven loving the taste. I really don't want this feeling to end!

Hey, Pita, I know what you mean.

I bought a small tub of cottage cheese to start because the last time I ate it, I hated it. Now, I alternate it with an omelette for breakfast. I have some mixed with tuna for a nice wrap filling. I was shocked--it's actually OK. So, now I'm buying the big tub.

I haven't made the switch to low-fat cheddar yet, but I may be up for that when the brick I've bought is gone. It's going to take an awfully long time to get gone, though as I seem to be voluntarily cutting back....
