No, not talking about my weight bouncing (down 1/2lb Again), that's getting old now, it is what it is, I'm on plan, body can catch up when it's ready... no, it's this bra I bought. You know I said I was impressed at the way it changed my shape from splodgy to 'hello boys' - i.e. suddenly I had a feminine, knock your eye out if you're not careful bust-line?
Well I saved it for today when I put on my uniform shirt.
First thing I noticed: the whole shirt hung much better now that it had some er points to fall from, rather than just huddle into the spare tyres.
Second thing: I was walking round in my robes in church and became aware of a shushing sound - it was my chasuble ~ you know, the coloured poncho thing priests wear? ~ again, hanging better and moving silkily as I walked.
In case you wondered, I'm not talking about That Much Pleasure ..... just for the very first time in a very long time, I felt a degree of confidence in my body, and there was a bounce in my step to go with the other bounce!
Well, then........what is it? What is this magi bra? I am on a quest!
I bought a Bra-lellujah by Spanx. Very comfy, but not the most flattering look for me. It is too padded for my taste.
Also bought a Sassybax.....that really holds in the torso, but squishes the girls....looks OK for some knit tops, etc...anyhoo...Spill it, girl..what is it??
I had a terrible time with bras before I discovered my current brand. I was wearing the wrong size and I knew it, because nobody in this small town carried a G cup. Once I went to Seattle and got fitted in a proper bra, it made a HUGE difference. Several people said,"Wow, have you lost weight!?" because the girls were no dangling, crammed into too-small cups with a too-big band. They were up where they belonged and apparently it made quite a difference to people who saw me! It was funny; I couldn't really say, "No, I just bought new bras!" but I was really happy at the improvement!
Maryblu - it's a £5 padded Tshirt bra from Sainsburys - that's all! It's just made this huge difference that makes me smile. (Or you could say, I'm easily amused by little things. Not that 38c is that little....)
