I find that good healthy fats (no more than 25%-30%) and protein fill me up and keep me satisfied the LONGEST so that's where I go

Where those carbs are coming from is very important, meaning just what KIND of carbs they are. And I really believe protein is a key to success in many factors. Nutrition wise of course, muscle promoting as well, but also that it is very satisfying and filling, stick to the ribs so to say, which helps us to stay on plan. So yeah, it's really mucho importante'.

Why don't you give us an idea of what you're eating, a full days menu and we'll try and suggest how you can tweak it to get you even more on the right track? Get you to get the most out of your days food.

well for yesterday my ratio was fat24%\ carbs 65%\ protine 11%. I had 1592calories. My menue for yesterday was:

Breakfast: Quaker Honey Bran Oatmeal
1 Cup Milk
Sack: ( not my usual choice for a snack but we were in the middle of the
woods after a looong hike and it was the lesser of the evils chips cookies cinnamon rolls blah! )
4 oat cakes
1 Cup hot chocolate made with water
Lunch: Lean Quisine Spa Chicken Alfredo
Snack: Activia Yogert in 1\2 cup Kashi Go lean Crunch asn 4 diced
strawberries
Dinner: 2 cups cream tomato soup
2 slices of Bens Smart Whole Wheat bread

So I think that was a better day. I would like the protine ratio to be a bit higher. And I need more green on a daily basis not just some days. The Day I noticed the high fat ratio I think I had ground beef and pasta with cheddar cheese. So its no wonder. I always manage to get well within my 1500-16-- calorie range but i don't always get the type of food right. I'm just realizing now that what you eat makes as big a difference as how much you eat and I think I need to watch that.
