Default Is it possible?

Ok so I have a question....

My stomach is my least favourite part of my, flabby and covered in stretch marks. I have visions of a fit and toned stomach some day. But is it possible to go from one extreme to another? It's a big motivation for me, imagining having the perfect stomach, but I'm begining to worry it's not possible...

I think it really depends on the individual. I lost weight at the age of 35 (from 200 lbs to 130 lbs), my stomach will never be completely flat due to the loose skin. I don't have a flat perfect stomach like a model (but remember most models are airbrushed fakery) but I am so much happier as a slim person. I love clothes shopping and getting dressed in the morning.

That doesn't mean that someone else with more elastic skin might not have a different experience!

At the age of 26, having been obese my whole life, my skin wasn't very elastic either. But honestly? Flat stomach has NOTHING on a smaller jeans size in terms of motivation. No one is looking at my stomach while I'm fully clothed, hanging about.

My perspective is that worrying about what you're going to look like post-weight-loss is sort of silly...you can't predict what'll happen. I'd say you just keep working and see what your body does. If you're still not happy and you're at goal, you might consider other means to get there (surgery, for example). But worry about that then, when you know it's a problem.

For now, use it as motivation!

Some people lose weight without loose skin issues. So yes, it is possible.
