It is not the whole area that is numb, I can poke the area and I can feel that but I could probably poke the skin with a pin in some spots and I wouldn't feel it. Does this sound really weird or what? I haven't seen the doctor since I figured this out so I haven't had the chance to ask about it. I think it is probably from the surgery but I wanted to ask if anyone else has had this or heard about it.
I had a partial hysterectomy two years ago and I still have a little bit of numbness around the incision area. It is weird. In fact, I used get a little depressed because it felt so bizarre. The first time I looked at it, it made me feel so sad because I thought it looked awful. I got over all of this.

8 years strong on my ceserean and still no feeling around my scar. Its normal and usually stays that way. its weird when I get an itch down underneath in the deep tissue and can't feel when I try to scratch

Same here, had a c-section 3.5 years ago and still have some numb areas. I HATE IT. I wonder if I ever get a, um, "apron removal" surgery maybe they can remove that part?? But then will THOSE scars just be numb too?? Hate it...
