Default Scale Batteries?

Would I find them over in the scales area? The last couple days I've jumped on my scale and it reads Lo. Then I take the batteries out and put them back in, and that gets me a number. I just don't want to trust that number if it needs new batteries. The scale isn't old, so I'm thinking batteries is what it needs.

my scale battery died this month too. It turned out that it takes one of the most common medical grade batteries - I found a new one in walmart with all the rest of the batteries. I just took mine in to be sure I got the 'right number'

Some models just take regular AA batteries--but take them with you when you go, so you make sure you get the right kind.
