Question of the Day 3/27

  • What is the most meaningful thing that has happened to you so far on your journey that you can look back on and get encouragement from when you need it?
  • My husband sent me the GREATEST egreeting a few days ago... it was so sweet... proclaiming how much he loved me and how proud of me he was. I hadn't gotten something that mushy from him in a long time...

My mom yells in joy every time I tell her I've lost ANYTHING...

My best friends husband saying "Wow!! You already look thinner!!"
  • great question!!
Of course compliments are great but I like the even cooler things like fitting into seats easier. Sometimes movie theater seats were snug but not now! (I mean they arent snug anymore-not that I am thin or anything! lol!!) Also booths are easier for me now and some chairs like in doctors offices with arms were snug but not so much now. It's amazing what a difference a few inches makes!

  • I live in a Senior Center (a disability) and the praise that I get every day from so many of the residents is a real boost.

    less pain.

putting on my tennis shoes again!

remembering what !delicious food I can have eating this way!!

    more energy.

    less me!

and a thousand other things that don't come to mind right now....
  • Great question...

Compliments can turn any nightmare day into one of the best days of your life. =)

The day I was in the dressing room and had to go back out to the rack not because the jeans were too small like every other time, but because they were too big! That was an amzing day! Tears came to my eyes, not for the usual reason. I will always keep that feeling within and smile. Keeps me going.
  • Good for you Jenniffer! Keep up the good work.

    Love, Gayle
