I am glad to hear things were negative!

My mom is going through similar woes right now with the possibility of lung cancer. It's scary. I hope hers comes back negative, also.

Yay for the good news. I'm like you and would definitely want the PET scan. If it were me and there was still a possibility I had cancer, I would want to know sooner rather than later.
Hange in there

Linda, I've been watching for your updates and am so glad to see that you have had some good news. You and your mom have been in my thoughts.

BTW, off-topic. I think I will be attending a conference in Vancouver in August. I will be sure to come to the Vancouver chicks for suggestions on things to see and do while I'm there.

Schmoodle! That's awesome that you'll be in these parts!

I wouldn't be a good person to ask for advice about Vancouver though. I'm on Vancouver Island, and avoid the mainland like the plague. Big cities intimidate me
Even though it's only a 1.5 hour ferry ride away, I only make it over there maybe once a year, and only if absolutely necessary.
However, having said that..Vancouver is a gorgeous city. Stanley park is amazing...incredible beaches, and the Vancouver Aquarium is not to be missed. And supposedly the shopping is incredible...if you like that sort of thing... I personally am not one who thinks shopping is fun..probably comes from years of being too broke to buy what I want

Thank you for the continued thoughts for me and Mom and our family. I truly believe it has something to do with these good results!
Now we have much more waiting. I will let you know when I find out the date of the PET scan. It will be quite a while though, I believe Vancouver has the only machine in BC.
