Default Calling all Fiber One fans...

Have you ever been to their web site? They have some wonderful-sounding recipes that are relatively low-cal/low-fat and, of course, have high fiber. I just ran across this site this morning. This may be old news to some of you but thought I would share just in case.

The funny thing about this was just THREE DAYS ago I told my husband I needed to try to make a crust from ground Fiber One instead of using the graham cracker crust. Lo and behold, there it is on their site! I had not even heard of anyone doing that before so I had no idea there was a recipe already out there for one (though I know there is nothing new under the sun). I'm anxious to try it! Maybe you will find something on their site that you like as well!

You're welcome! I was quite delighted to find those recipes - just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas too!

Yep, I called you! In fact, when I wrote that I remembered that you were a fan of Fiber One.

I get the Hungry Girl newsletter. I think she is a big fan of Fiber One.

If you don't care for artificial sweeteners, Trader Joe's has a high fiber cereal that is similar to fiber one and can probably be used for the same recipes.

Fiber One was my alltime favorite, I use to eat fiber one daily, sprinkle it in my oatmeal, put it in my yogurt, eat it dry etc. But I had to give up artificial sweeteners and Fiber one has aspartame, so this is still TOUGHIE for me, as I miss it so. I loved that the calories were so low 60 calories and the fiber so high. I now use uncle sam cereal and that has 190 calories per 3/4 cup, which in my opinion is quite high in calories compared to fiber one, so sometimes I just eat cheerios, less fiber but more filling volume, they are 100 calories per cup. I don't have trader joe's in my area, hmnnn big bummer! So all you fiber one fans continue to eat it for me, okay??

I get that too!

I just finished eating the Eggplant Parm recipe that came in this week. I *loved* it and DH said it was "mighty tasty"!

I will definitely be making it again.
